    FOX Bet Sportsbook Hands-on Review

FOX Bet was founded back in 2018 in a union between FOX Sports and The Stars Group. While the Stars Group already had a Sportsbook on the market called Bet Stars, they ultimately decided to have a facelift following their allegiance with FOX.

And why not? With one of the world’s most recognizable brand names in their title, it gives the Sportsbook and Online Casino formerly known as Bet Stars a tremendous boost in legitimacy.

Here in New Jersey, FOX Bet is partnered with Resorts Casino and Hotel, another household brand in the gaming industry.

While FOX Bet has its pros and cons, the good outweighs the bad. Sure, they don’t offer fox bet teasers, same-game parlays, or live streaming action, but FOX Bet does have a cash-out feature and parlays that you can wager with up to 20 legs.

I also enjoy the fact that FOX Bet offers custom bets, similar to the “Name Your Bet” feature at PointsBet. And if you are into FOX Sports, their on-air personalities are always adding their own bets in the mix which you can also place wagers on.

Just due to name recognition alone, FOX Bet will see traffic to their website. However, contrary to some of the smaller but still busy sportsbooks on the market, FOX’s site does not lag and is always pristine when it comes to aesthetics.

The FOX Bet website is also easy to navigate, especially if you are a casino or poker player and want to go one of those routes to get some action in while you wait for your games to start. At the top of the FOX Bet website, you will find buttons that will redirect you to the PokerStars Poker Room and the Stars Online Casino, respectively. There is something for everyone at FOX Bet.

    Is FOX Bet Legit?

Yes, FOX Bet Sportsbook is legit. It is fully legal and licensed in the United States. Here in New Jersey, FOX Bet is partnered with Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, and is regulated by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Can You Win Real Money Playing at FOX Bet Sportsbook?

Yes, you can win real money at FOX Bet as long as you are wagering within the limits of states in which it is legal.

FOX Bet offers new players a second-chance bet as a welcome bonus.

    FOX Bet Super 6

This is a separate app and website from FOX Bet. While they are from the same family, Super 6 is completely free to use. However, despite being free, you can win real money here.

To play, you must correctly predict the outcomes of six different events. To win, you must get all six right.

    My FOX Bet App Experience

The FOX Bet app is available at the iOS and Android stores. Today, I am writing this review using an iOS device (iPhone).

Upon downloading the FOX Bet app in the Apple App Store, you will open it up to find it asking you to verify your location. This is standard procedure for apps in the gaming industry now. The sportsbook wants to protect itself and you by making sure you are in a state that they are legal in.

After verifying your location, you will be asked to sign in with your username and password. If you are a new user, you can also sign up here as well.

Similar to the website, the FOX Bet app is just as fast and easy to use. And contrary to most of FOX Bet’s competitors, they offer their sportsbook, online casino, and poker room all in one place.

From top-to-bottom, the FOX Bet app is well put together. You will find your menu with the day’s top leagues in play as well as your promotions at the top. It should be the first thing you see after logging in. Next line down, you will find a scrolling menu that features top live bets, bet boosts, and new promotions.

As you scroll down, you will find a menu that includes popular bets, live bets, bet boosts, and custom bets. This is one of my favorite parts of the app as it has all of the necessities right at your fingertips. I like not having to search for boosts and custom bets. If you click on one of those options, you will find available wagers.

Following that layer in the midsection of the app, you will find another feature that I absolutely love called trending bets. Here, the FOX Bet app tells you their most popular bets.

The bottom menu of the FOX Bet app is similar to what you will find at other sportsbooks. All sports (A-Z), bet slip, and account settings are found here. However, as I suggested at the top, you can get the online casino and poker room all in one spot. Well, the bottom menu is where you will find the buttons to navigate you to those areas.

I do a lot of sportsbook reviews. I also use many different ones almost on a daily basis (depending on the season). And I must say, I am very impressed with the FOX Bet app, especially the speed, ease of use, and the simple way of finding what I need on the home screen.

Should You Bet at FOX Bet?

As I noted throughout this review, FOX Bet has its good and its bad. However, despite some shortcomings that you would think would be cookie-cutter at this juncture, such as FOX Bet teasers, same-game parlays, and live streaming, FOX Bet is still a must-add to your arsenal.

While their odds aren’t always terrific, they are mostly in line with the rest of the market.Even if you are not a fan of the odds, the fact that FOX Bet offers Custom Bets is an easy win to get me to sign up. I absolutely love the Name a Bet feature over at PointsBet, which is similar to FOX’s Custom Bet.

To my knowledge, until FOX Bet added their Custom Bet option, PointsBet did not have any competition in this particular space. Now, I can find custom bets with favorable odds at two different sportsbooks.

One wrinkle about FOX Bet’s Custom Bet that I love is the fact that many of their betting options come from FOX Sports’ on-air personalities. You can listen to them and place the same wagers they discuss on their programming.

The FOX Bet geolocation can be iffy on both the website and the app. However, I can say the same is true for many sportsbooks that I have reviewed. It is a flawed system everywhere. So be sure that you are signed in and verified early on the days that you know you will be actively wagering.

From their promotions, bet boosts, and tiered rewards system catered to the bettor. FOX Bet is always giving their customers a reason to sign up, play and keep coming back.

The sportsbook has some of the most aggressive promotions on the market. They may not offer as many as some of their competitors, but the ones they do offer are fruitful.

FOX Bet will be one of my most-used sportsbooks this upcoming football season. I suggest you give them a shot now and find out for yourself why I am all-in on FOX Bet.

    FOX Bet Odds

FOX Bet offers competitive odds that are fairly priced in comparison to the rest of the market. You’ll find some value here at times, especially in moneyline wagers. It’s also good that at FOX Bet, they mostly keep -110 prices on both sides of spread and totals bets.

    Best FOX Bet Betting Odds

One of the best ways to target FOX Bet odds is on the futures market. If you’re targeting a sport like golf or tennis, this is a good spot because you often find better prices on outright winners, where you choose who finishes first in a given tournament.

While the props market isn’t as robust as other sportsbooks, you’ll still find that the prices aren’t inflated. It’s also good to see that with moneylines, there isn’t a wide gap between favorites and underdogs.
