As of 1 December 2025, ESPN Bet are no longer owned by Penn Entertainment. Part of the terms of the agreement have revealed that Walt Disney cannot licence the ESPN Bet brand again before 1 February 2027, and Penn will retain the 2.9 million users it acquired during the years ESPN Bet was operational.
