Joe Burrow AFC Championship Props 2022 | Prop Bets For Bengals vs Chiefs

Against all odds, the Cincinnati Bengals have advanced to the AFC Championship for the first time since 1988.

Though Joe Burrow didn’t throw a touchdown in Saturday’s 19-16 win over the No. 1-seeded Tennessee Titans, he threw for 348 yards and led the Bengals down the field for one of three game-winning field goals in the Divisional Playoffs.

The second-year quarterback has played well in his first postseason, throwing for 592 yards and two touchdowns in two games.

Will Burrow be able to lead the Bengals to another upset, or is this the end of their historic run?

Let’s dive in to explore the best Burrow player props you should take against the Chiefs this week.

Please note that all NFL gameday lines are current as of 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, January 27.

Joe Burrow Conference Championship Prop Bets

OVER 286.5 Passing Yards (-110) at BetMGM

Wager: 2 Units

We’re 1-for-2 on the Burrow passing yards prop bet predictions. I’ve bet the Over in both playoff games so far, and I’m going to keep riding it until I can’t anymore.

Everyone knew how great of a talent Burrow was coming out of college. But the season he’s had after the major injury he suffered his rookie year? Just unheard of.

Despite being sacked nine times against the Titans (which tied an NFL playoff record), Burrow still threw for 300+ and got the big win for his team, proving he can get the job done no matter what defenses throw at him.

The Bengals last played the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17, a decisive game that saw the Bengals clinch the AFC North title with the victory. In the contest, Burrow went 30-for-39 and threw for 446 yards.

Burrow’s done it before to the Chiefs’ defense, and he can easily do it again with how the Bengals have been calling plays on offense.

I’m taking Burrow’s Over in this one.

OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-190) at BetMGM

Wager: 2 Units

Burrow didn’t throw for a touchdown against the Titans last week, but it’ll be a different story against the Chiefs. While the Titans are known for their good defense, the Chiefs have holes for Burrow to exploit.

It was apparent how weak the Kansas City secondary was last game when Josh Allen threw four touchdowns (all to Gabriel Davis). Burrow and Allen essentially had the same stats this season, with Burrow having slightly more yards and Allen just two more passing touchdowns.

Going back to their matchup against the Chiefs again, Burrow threw four touchdowns in the victory. That game was to clinch the AFC North. This game determines who goes to the Super Bowl.

Burrow will have a similar performance to their Week 17 game with everything on the line.

OVER 0.5 Interceptions (-140) at BetMGM

Wager: 1 Unit

Though he finished the season with 14 interceptions, Burrow led the league in completion percentage (70.4 percent). And he’s been even sharper during the postseason, completing 73.2 percent of his passes.

Burrow went five straight games without throwing an interception before throwing one last week against Tennessee. Even with their flaws, the Chiefs’ secondary had 15 interceptions during the regular season.

One interception is enough for this Over to hit, and I think the high pressure of the AFC Championship will get to the young quarterback at some point in this game.

NFL Betting News

  • Early money slightly leaning towards the over in the 49ers-Rams matchup

DraftKings Sportsbook is reporting good two-way action on the over/under for the NFC Championship Game matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams.

    Betting Impact:
Per DraftKings, the over of 46 points has attracted 55% of the bets and 60% of the money thus far. Much moreso than the AFC Championship Game, the betting splits on the point spread and total in this game are much more evenly split, so the sportsbook does not have too much liability on either at the moment. From a moneyline perspective, Los Angeles's -170 moneyline odds have attracted 60% of the bets and 70% of the money.

  • Early bettors give slight lean to the Rams over the 49ers

Based on the betting splits at DraftKings Sportsbook, the favored Los Angeles Rams are getting slightly more betting attention in their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

    Betting Impact:
Per DraftKings, Los Angeles's -3.5 point spread has received 65% of the bets and 61% of the handle thus far. Bettors are clearly torn in this matchup considering the Rams have arguably been playing better football through the first two playoff games, while the 49ers have won six consecutive games against the Rams, including a thrilling Week 18 overtime victory in Los Angeles.

  • Early money more than 4/1 on the over in the Bengals-Chiefs matchup

DraftKings Sportsbook is reporting one-sided betting action for Sunday's over/under in the matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs.

    Betting Impact:
Per DraftKings, the over of 54.5 points has attracted 75% of the bets and 85% of the money thus far. At this point, the sportsbook has big liability to the Chiefs point spread and the over in this matchup, as their most ideal scenario would be a Bengals cover in a low-scoring game at the moment. From a moneyline perspective, Kansas City's -335 moneyline odds have attracted 58% of the bets and 61% of the money.

  • Early money 3/1 on the Chiefs over the Bengals

DraftKings Sportsbook is reporting one-sided betting action for Sunday's matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs, as the majority of the action is backing the favored Chiefs.

    Betting Impact:
Per DraftKings, Kansas City's -7 point spread has received 61% of the bets and 76% of the handle thus far. Cincinnati is shaping up to be the biggest need of any side or any total this weekend, as the public seems to be enamored with the Chiefs after their thrilling Divisional Round win over Buffalo.

  • 49ers-Rams over/under reaches lowest number of the week

After another line movement, the over/under for the NFC Championship matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams has reached its lowest total of the week.

    Betting Impact:
Per DraftKings, the 49ers-Rams over/under on Sunday night was posted at 47.5 points. It was quickly bet down to 46.5 in less than 24 hours. However, it has once again moved toward the under, and now currently sits at 46 points. Given that there has not yet been buyback on the over, it is extremely unlikely we see the total get back to anywhere close to the 47.5 points it opened at.
