Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants Prediction
The Philadelphia Eagles have figured out a winning formula on offense over the last month. They are limiting the number of dropbacks for Jalen Hurts and running the ball more instead.
Philly just ran for 242 yards against the New Orleans Saints and were able to score 40 points against one of the NFL’s top run defenses. That appears to be the Eagles’ recipe for success going forward.
That run-heavy formula should continue to work well this week against the New York Giants, who are coming off a short week after playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. Considering that this is an early kickoff, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Giants get off to a sluggish start here.
Look for the Eagles to establish the run and make enough plays in the passing game to win this NFC East matchup outright.

Eagles vs Giants Best Bet: Eagles -3.5 (-112) at TwinSpires
The Eagles are 3-1 in their last four games with their only loss narrowly coming against the Los Angeles Chargers (27-24). All three of their wins during that span have come by double digits as their defense is really starting to come together.
The Giants shouldn’t offer much resistance against the run and Daniel Jones likely won’t scare them much in the passing game. Take Philadelphia to cover the spread on the road as they are the far better team in this divisional showdown.
Eagles vs Giants Best Bet: Under 46.5 points (-112) at TwinSpires
Neither team is all that explosive on offense and that is especially true of New York. With how poorly their offensive line has played this season, Jones rarely has time to set up and throw the ball downfield. Hurts isn’t known for his passing, either.
This feels like an ugly divisional matchup on Sunday where the first team to score more than 21 points should win. Take the Under on our NFL gameday odds.

Minnesota Vikings vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction
Both the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers are coming off huge wins in Week 11 and remain in contention for a Wild Card berth. The winner of this matchup will hold an important tiebreaker and improve to 6-5 on the season.
The 49ers should have the upper hand here as they are better in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Their offensive line should open up massive lanes in the run game and their defense should be able to create pressure on Kirk Cousins.
Expect this to be a back and forth game (Minnesota’s specialty) that San Francisco ultimately wins at home.
Vikings vs 49ers Prediction: 49ers 28, Vikings 24
Vikings vs 49ers Best Bet: 49ers -3.5 (-103) at TwinSpires
The 49ers have won three of their last four games as their offense has found its rhythm, scoring 30+ points in each win thanks to an improved rushing attack and better play from Jimmy Garoppolo. Their defense has also been outstanding, yielding just 10 points in each of their last two games.
Look for San Francisco’s offense to stay hot and post another high points total in this NFC matchup.
Vikings vs 49ers Best Bet: Over 48.5 (-107) at TwinSpires
Both offenses have played well as of late and they can get red-hot from time to time. As we saw in Week 11, Minnesota can score points in a hurry, especially when Cousins and Justin Jefferson are on the same page. Meanwhile, San Francisco looks like a real contender again with a healthy George Kittle back in the lineup.
This should be a fast-paced, high-scoring game on Sunday afternoon. Take the Over here for our NFL bet of the day and expect both teams to approach 27 points.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals Prediction
The Pittsburgh Steelers have played in some wild games recently. They nearly blew a double-digit lead to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 9, tied the Detroit Lions in Week 10, and nearly completed an epic comeback against the Chargers in Week 11.
Now, they will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in a huge AFC North matchup.
In the first meeting between these two teams back in Week 3, Cincy earned a relatively easy 24-10 win at Heinz Field. The Steelers have turned their season around since then, however, so look for them to play with a ton of urgency here in what should be a tough defensive battle.
It’ll be close, but look for Mike Tomlin’s team to get a much-needed win on Sunday.
Steelers vs Bengals Prediction: Steelers 23, Bengals 21

Steelers vs Bengals Best Bet: Steelers +4.5 (-114) at TwinSpires
In a divisional game like this, any more than three points for the home team is just too many. We’ve seen these games often come down to the final possession and most of the time, the final kick.
Are the Bengals 4.5 points better than the Steelers? Probably not. Are they even better than Pittsburgh straight up? Who knows.
Take the value here with the Steelers and the points, as the final margin of victory will likely be a field goal.
Steelers vs Bengals Best Bet: Under 45.5 (-110) at TwinSpires
Both teams have the same game plan on offense, which is establish the run, protect their quarterback, and lean on their defense to make plays. These are two of the least aggressive coaches on fourth down in the NFL and both settle for far too many short field goals.
Look for this to be a hard-fought, low-scoring AFC North battle on Sunday.
