2021 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 10: Top Pickups
Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona Cardinals (0% rostered)
Chase Edmonds sustained an ankle injury on his first touch of Week 9 and did not return. James Conner and Benjamin handled the workload in his place.
Benjamin appeared just fine on the way to this touchdown run:

Edmonds is feared to have suffered a high-ankle sprain, which likely will put him on injured reserve and could cost him upwards of a month of action.
Conner has served as the main goal-line option and would remain the lead ball-carrier in Edmonds’ absence, but Benjamin sliding into Edmonds’ tandem role would still make him a valuable flex play most weeks, especially if he inherits the pass-catching duties.
- Eno Benjamin Week 10 FAAB Bid: $32

Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Cleveland Browns (12% rostered)
From OBJ to DPJ: With the Browns scheduled to waive Odell Beckham Jr. on Monday, Peoples-Jones was already a popular weekend scoop for shrewd waiver-wire scouts.
After his 86-yard performance in Week 9 versus the Cincinnati Bengals that also saw him score on a 60-yard play, his fantasy stock is soaring.
People-Jones’ weekly target totals might not creep toward double digits as often as desired, though.
Cleveland remains a run-first offense, and its receiving corps is still crowded even without Beckham. The Browns deploy Jarvis Landry, three tight ends, and a pass-catching back. Kareem Hunt (calf) is expected to return next week, after all.
On the bright side, Peoples-Jones can serve as Cleveland’s main deep threat, something that should intrigue those in half-PPR and non-PPR fantasy leagues that value distance receiving ability.
- Donovan Peoples-Jones Week 10 FAAB Bid: $14
Rhamondre Stevenson, Brandon Bolden, & J.J. Taylor, RB, New England Patriots (6%, 4%, 0% rostered)
The typically frustrating Patriots backfield is complicated this week after Damien Harris and Stevenson left Week 9 with head injuries.
If Stevenson’s prognosis appears OK by Tuesday night before Week 10 fantasy football waiver-wire runs, he’ll leap to the top of the priority list. He has three-down ability and looked punishing with 62 yards on eight carries during New England’s win over the Carolina Panthers.
If Harris and/or Stevenson must sit, Bolden will continue to find value as at least a pass protector and third-down worker, making him a potentially sneaky flex play in PPR formats.
If Stevenson turns out to be healthy and Harris is ruled out, the former has immense upside to work in the 15-touch range, putting him squarely in flex territory for Week 10 versus the Browns.
Want to move further down the chain? The Pats would activate Taylor if Harris and/or Stevenson is sidelined, who could be used as a desperation play in PPR.
- Rhamondre Stevenson Week 10 FAAB Bid (if not on injury report and Harris is injured): $16
- Branden Bolden Week 10 FAAB Bid: $7 ($16 if Harris and/or Stevenson is expected to miss time)
- J.J. Taylor Week 10 FAAB Bid (if Harris & Stevenson are hurt): $4
NEW – Devonta Freeman, RB, Baltimore Ravens (22% rostered)
Freeman is turning back the clock to the 2010s lately, churning out 83 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in Week 9 in Baltimore’s patchwork backfield.
Latavius Murray (ankle) might return soon, but this probably will restrict Le’Veon Bell‘s reps more than Freeman’s. The former Falcon is valued for pass protection and experience in receiving, and he should continue serving in a tandem with the big bruiser. Bell probably will take a back seat.
Lamar Jackson of course is always around to threaten red-zone rushing work, but Freeman should at least offer flex stability in most formats with byes running for another few weeks.
- Devonta Freeman Week 10 FAAB Bid: $11
Elijah Moore, WR, New York Jets (27% rostered)
Even with Zach Wilson (knee) out and Mike White (forearm) yielding to Josh Johnson mid-game against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, Moore thrived in the box score with eight targets, seven catches, 84 yards, and two touchdowns.
The rookie also caught six passes in Week 8, seeing an expanded role during Corey Davis’ (hip) two-game absence.
Regardless of who’s under center, the Jets will likely have pass-heavy game scripts most weeks. So while this pass-catching crew remains crowded (Davis, Jamison Crowder, and Denzel Mims included), notably with Davis likely to return, Moore will remain flex-worthy in many leagues this week.
- Elijah Moore Week 10 FAAB Bid: $7
2021 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 10: Best Players To Stash
NEW – Van Jefferson, WR, Los Angeles Rams (43% rostered)
He’s going to wrestle TE Tyler Higbee for targets each week, but the Rams throw enough to make sure Jefferson, known for his prowess as a deep threat, should get something around five looks most games.
Given that he averages 12.6 yards in depth of target, that decent workload might be enough for him to pop many weeks. Jefferson’s development likely contributed to the Rams cutting veteran DeSean Jackson.
Non-PPR and half-PPR fantasy league teams should consider Jefferson a useful boom-or-bust depth piece.
- Van Jefferson Week 10 FAAB Bid: $4
NEW – Deonte Harris, WR, New Orleans Saints (15% rostered)
Keep building your wideout stash. Harris has seven and eight targets, respectively, in his past two games and has connected with QB Trevor Siemian in the absence of Jameis Winston (torn ACL).
Even if Taysom Hill slots in under center, Harris’ involvement should remain steady as a backup plan for PPR players.
- Deonte Harris Week 10 FAAB Bid: $3
2021 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 10: One-Week Streamer Plays
Throw a few FAAB dollars from Week 10 on these one-week streamer plays.
Quarterback Week 10 Streamers
- Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Miami Dolphins Baltimore Ravens (32% rostered)
- Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars (37% rostered)
Both are questionable to play, including Tua on Thursday, but both can be slotted in to replace the Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow on bye.
Tight End Week 10 Streamer
- Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Chargers (38% rostered)
Though he’s found the end zone just once this season, Conklin has garnered at least five targets in five of his past six games, including seven in both contests since the bye.
The Chargers have been vulnerable to tight ends lately, and given that Minnesota doesn’t have much reliability behind Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, Conklin should remain involved.
