Thanks for navigating to The Game Day’s NFL betting coverage! Click to read our new home for NFL Week 3 parlays.

It was another poor week of parlay betting here, as we weren’t able to hit any of our bets. The Steelers’ surprising home loss against the Raiders was the death blow.

You need to remember to show patience if you’re focusing on parlay betting since they’re difficult to win, but when you finally do hit, it’s a nice payout!

This week, we’ve got more data on teams, which will help us hit some parlays. Let’s take a look at the best parlay bets for Week 3 in the NFL play of the day series!

Please note that all odds are current as of Wednesday, September 22.

  • Chicago Bears +7 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (at Cleveland Browns)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers -3 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (vs Cincinnati Bengals)

Washington Football Team +8 (-110) Spread

The Washington Football Team come in as 8-point underdogs, which seems to be too high for a team that got 10 days of rest following a Thursday night victory over the New York Giants. While Washington ranks No. 16 in pass DVOA and No. 21 in run DVOA, this defense is too talented to keep playing like this.

The Buffalo Bills are coming off an impressive blowout win against the Miami Dolphins, but their offense looks out of sorts right now. Josh Allen is only completing 56% of his passes with 5.3 yards per attempt through two games. This spread feels too high for Buffalo.

Chicago Bears +7 (-110) Spread

The Chicago Bears held on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals last week, and it looks like dynamic rookie quarterback Justin Fields will make his first career start with Andy Dalton on the shelf. Fields is a dual-threat playmaker who can add another dimension to this offense, which is reflected in the NFL gameday odds.

The Cleveland Browns took care of business at home against the Houston Texans, but they lost wideout Jarvis Landry to injury. If Odell Beckham Jr. can’t go for another week, that leaves them with Donovan Peoples-Jones and Anthony Schwartz as their starting wideouts.

Pittsburgh Steelers -3 (-110) Spread

The Pittsburgh Steelers came into Week 2 riding high after an upset win over the Bills, but they had a letdown game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Look for them to have a better performance against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow crashed back to Earth against the Bears following a great performance against the Minnesota Vikings, completing only 6.9 yards per attempt with 3 interceptions. It’s going to be tough for him against a Steelers defense that shut down Josh Allen, which makes this one of our picks of the day.

Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

After a disappointing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, rookie RB Najee Harris could play a big role in Pittsburgh’s next outing with the Cincinnati Bengals.

NFL Week 3 Longshot Parlay Prediction

  • Washington Football Team +8 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (at Buffalo Bills)
  • Chicago Bears +7 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (at Cleveland Browns)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (-165) Moneyline at BetMGM (vs. Cincinnati Bengals)
  • New York Giants (-160) Moneyline at BetMGM (vs. Atlanta Falcons)
  • New Orleans Saints +2.5 (-110) Spread at BetMGM (at New England Patriots)

This week’s longshot parlay will start with Washington and Chicago, as I believe both spreads are too high considering the Bills’ offensive struggles and Browns’ injuries. I suggest also making a smaller parlay with these two teams on the moneyline, because both are live dogs here.

I’ll add the Steelers moneyline as insurance in case they don’t cover the 3-point spread, which is a definite possibility considering both Bengals’ games have been decided within 3 points. I’d be surprised if the Steelers lose this game, though.

The Giants moneyline looks like a good bet, as quarterback Daniel Jones is playing very well right now and running back Saquon Barkley looks poised for a strong outing against a struggling Atlanta Falcons’ defense.

The Saints should be able to cover the 2.5-point spread because of their proficiency at shutting down opposing running games. This makes them a bad matchup for the Patriots, who like to establish the run with Damien Harris.

Same Game Parlay Picks Week 3

  • Jacksonville Jaguars +7.5 (-115) Spread at BetMGM (vs Arizona Cardinals)
  • Cardinals/Jaguars OVER 52 (-110) Total at BetMGM

The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost both games to start off the Urban Meyer era; one by 16 points and the other by 10. Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence is struggling mightily, throwing several uncatchable balls to his talented group of wideouts.

The Arizona Cardinals, on the other hand, are riding high with a 2-0 start, taking care of business with a blowout win over the Tennessee Titans and nail-biter against the Minnesota Vikings. The Cardinals look like a clear-cut public play in this spot.

You have two teams headed in opposite directions. This game profiles as a trap for the Cardinals, who have a massive road game against the division rival Los Angeles Rams in Week 4. There’s a chance that they take the Jags lightly, resulting in a closer game than expected.

The Over looks appealing even with Jacksonville’s struggles on offense. The Jags rank No. 2 in pace of play in neutral game scripts (score within 7 points), while the Cardinals have scored 72 points in two games this season. This has the look of a shootout, which makes it our NFL bet of the day.
