How the Thrillzz refer-a-friend bonus works
The first thing that you know is that Thrillzz set this up as a two-part reward.
The first reward is 1 Thrillzz Sweeps. You get it when your friend signs up with your code and places a sports pick on any game, doesn’t matter which sport. I got mine within a few minutes of my buddy placing a pick on an NBA game, so the turnaround was quick.
While the reward may seem small at first, you stand to get 10 Thrillzz Sweeps in total if all of your referred friends sign up and make their first pick.
The second part takes longer to get because it depends on your friends making Thrillzz Coin purchases. If they buy $30 or more in Thrillzz Coin packages during their first 30 days on the platform, you receive 30 Thrillzz Sweeps per friend. Here’s how to generate and share your code
Generating your Thrillzz referral code doesn’t take long at all. I clocked my own run-through at somewhere around 30 seconds, start to finish. So here’s what you need to do:
- Open Thrillzz and log in
- Tap on your my profile section
- Tap the gift icon
- Your unique code will pop up
- Copy it and share it with a friend
Now, one thing you should mention to your friends is that Thrillzz is a mobile-only platform. So, they won’t be able to access it on your computer. To use Thrillzz, they’ll need either the iOS or Android app. Both can be downloaded for free through the App Store or Google Play.
Also, your code doesn’t change once it’s generated. I used the same one for multiple referrals without any issues. That’s great because you won’t need to go back and create a fresh code each time you want to invite someone new.

Your code is for personal sharing only
Sending it to friends and posting it on your own social media accounts is fine. However, posting it on coupon websites or running some kind of big promotional push is against their terms, so don’t risk it. Thrillzz wants real referrals between people who actually know each other, which makes sense.
They also watch for fraud
If they spot weird patterns like five accounts created from the same phone within an hour, they can freeze or reverse your bonuses. Can’t blame them for that one. But there is another side to this coin, as I also ended up wasting some of them because some friends just registered and didn’t even make a sports pick and didn’t make any Thrillzz Coin bundle purchases.
That said, here are some tips on how to make the most of your referrals:
- Share it with sports fans, not just any friends — The first couple of people I sent my code to didn’t really watch sports, so they never got around to signing up. Target the buddies who already talk about NFL games or constantly check NBA scores on their phones.
- Send it with a bit of context — Dropping a random code into a text thread rarely lands. I had more success sending a quick message about talking about Thrillzz and why I like it, then dropping the code at the end.
- Remind them about the first pick step — Your friend has to make a sports pick for you to get your first reward. A few of mine signed up but didn’t place a pick for days, so no bonus on my end until they did.
- Don’t forget the 30-day purchase window — If your friend is planning to purchase a Thrillzz Coin package at some point, the purchase only counts toward your 30-Sweep bonus if it happens within their first 30 days. So, it’s worth mentioning that to them if it comes up naturally in conversation.

The Thrillzz referral program is generally good, but it’s not exactly perfect. It’s fairly simple to generate a code and share it amongst your friends. Once they sign up using it, you’ll get your first reward. I like that the first reward triggers without your friend having to spend anything, because that’s not how it works everywhere.
If the friends you referred end up staying on the site and make additional Thrillzz Coins purchases, you’ll get even better rewards. While this is good, it comes at a price. You can only refer 10 friends. This is by far the main drawback, as you’ll need to be careful about who you share your code with. Not everyone is going to make an additional TC purchase within 30 days, let alone make one at all.
