OwnersBox is a fantasy sports operator that offers daily contests for cash prizes. You’re also able to accumulate rewards points known as OwnersBucks, which can be used to enter more games.

The site features a sleek and accessible platform with an app that is available on both Android and iOS devices. It’s easy to navigate and build your lineups, helping enhance the overall experience. There’s a helpful signup bonus as well as multiple banking methods to make payment more convenient for you.

One of the main factors that set OwnersBox apart from its competition is its innovation. This operator is always looking to create new contests that depart from conventional daily fantasy contests. In this article, we’re going to focus on their latest game, known as Lightning Lineups.

Is OwnersBox Legit?

OwnersBox is a completely legitimate platform as a fully licensed fantasy sports operator. They were established in 2019 and continue to expand across the industry. You can feel at ease depositing personal funds into a renowned new player in this space.

Can You Win Real Money at OwnersBox?

You can win real money playing at any contest offered at OwnersBox, including Lightning Lineups. Financial transactions are encrypted to ensure their security. You’ll enjoy a number of different banking methods to suit your needs, whether you’re making a deposit or withdrawal.

What Is Lightning Lineups?

Lightning Lineups is a daily fantasy game where you must choose the highest-scoring three-player lineup out of the ones provided to you. You’ll be required to choose the top lineup out of at least three options. If your lineup outscores the other two, you’ll get a 2.25x payout, which is $225 on a $100 wager.

If you don’t like these choices, you get to “spin" again, which generates three new lineups. The great news is that you have unlimited spins to find your lineup, so you can take the time to make your decision.

There are also opportunities to increase your payout by adding more lineups. For example, if I increase it to four lineups instead of three, I’ll have a chance to 3x my money instead of 2.25x. You can add up to 10 lineups for a 6x potential profit, depending on the size of the slate.

Since these are pre-generated, you won’t have to worry about building them yourself. All you need to do is decide which one has the best chance of racking up the most points. You can see the projected points for a given lineup at the bottom.

Should You Play OwnersBox Lightning Lineups?

Yes, you should definitely check out Lightning Lineups on OwnersBox due to its convenience and accessibility. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced daily fantasy player, you’ll be well-positioned for success with this contest.

For one, having the ability to choose pre-generated lineups is convenient. You won’t have to spend lots of time building optimal lineups. The randomizer feature is quick and efficient, so you’ll be able to enter a contest while on the go. It’s also easy to understand, which adds to the appeal.

The next benefit here is that you won’t have to deal with DFS sharks who max-enter tournaments with 150 lineups, using sophisticated optimizers with player and ownership projections. All you need to do is outscore the other 2-9 lineups within your own contest.

This new contest is designed for all types of players, and the best part about it is that it’s fun to play. You won’t have to get frustrated about building a high-scoring lineup that doesn’t pay much. Lightning Lineups is easier to win, and I highly recommend trying it out!

How to Build Your Lightning Lineups

The best part about Lightning Lineups is how convenient it is to get started. Here’s what you do:

  2. Select “Lightning Lineups"
  3. Choose your sport: NFL, MLB, NBA, or NHL
  4. You’ll see three 3-player lineups on your screen
  5. If you want to spin again, click the Lightning Lineups logo
  6. If you want to add more lineups to increase your payout, click the “+"
  7. When you’re ready, select “Submit"

OwnersBox Lightning Lineups Strategy

Lightning Lineups is appealing for its simplicity in allowing you to choose from pre-generated lineups, but there are strategies to consider to help guide you towards a profit.

The key here is to decide on a core of players who you think will have a big game. You can choose these players based on their recent production, head-to-head matchup, and projected game script. This means that you want a player performing well, heading into an exploitable matchup that can be a potential shootout.

Let’s take a look at an example, using Week 1 of the upcoming NFL season:

The Arizona Cardinals are facing the Kansas City Chiefs. The game has a 54-point total, which means that it projects to be high-scoring. More points mean more potential fantasy production. Arizona will likely have to air it out to keep pace with the high-octane Chiefs’ offense.

Their top wideout DeAndre Hopkins is out for this game, as he’s serving a six-game suspension. New addition Marquise Brown could be slated for a heavy target share in a game where Kyler Murray will likely be passing at a higher rate. This means that we could see a big game from Brown.

Since I’m high on Brown against the Chiefs, I want to make it a point of emphasis that he’s in my Lightning Lineup. I’ll keep spinning the wheel until I see Brown in the lineup and go with that one, as long as the other two players are good enough to roster as well.

It’s also a good idea to try to make sure that the opposing lineups aren’t too strong, either. You can monitor the projected points provided at the bottom of the lineups to guide you through this process.

You have an unlimited number of spins, so you can continue to mix and match until you find a lineup that features one of your core players. Be sure to take advantage of this feature because it’s the best way to be profitable in the long run.

It’s also a good idea to max out the lineups that you’ll be facing. You want to try to shoot for the highest possible payout, so try to get 10 lineups in total. While it’s more difficult to outscore nine other lineups, you want to maximize your potential payout.

I know that part of the appeal of Lightning Lineups is its convenience, but be sure to spend time spinning so that you can put together a build that you like.
