The Pacific Division title is expected to be entirely up for grabs in 2023-24. The region has long boasted some of the NBA’s most talented teams, but it’s never been this stacked from top-to-bottom.
The Sacramento Kings, who took the division crown in 2023, have the fourth-shortest odds to repeat as champions, while the new-look Phoenix Suns sit atop the leaderboard.
With the stage set, let’s take a look at the betting odds for the NBA Pacific Division in 2023-24.

Who Will Win The NBA Pacific Division?
Phoenix Suns (+150)
Caesars Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit
After adding Kevin Durant this past season and Bradley Beal over the summer, the Suns have established themselves as the early favorite to win the Pacific Division in 2024. There were questions about depth, but Phoenix seemingly answered those via free agency.
Most of the names don’t jump off the page — Yuta Watanabe, Drew Eubanks, Keita Bates-Diop, Chimezie Metu — but each helps raise this team’s floor. Eric Gordon was the biggest prize — the sharpshooting swingman averaged 12.4 points per game last year between the Rockets and Clippers.
As long as everybody can stay healthy, Phoenix should cruise through the regular season. However, even if one of the team’s three stars can’t go on a given night, the other two should be able to carry enough of the load to keep the Suns afloat.

Golden State Warriors (+320)
Caesars Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit
The Warriors made a big splash of their own this summer, adding 12-time All-Star Chris Paul via trade to go along with an already phenomenal core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins.
It remains to be seen how significant a role Paul will play, but given his Hall of Fame-caliber résumé, we can expect him to elevate this team on both ends of the floor.
Golden State’s biggest issue in 2022-23 was winning road games. Regardless of what the root of that problem was, Paul is someone who can help fix it and help this team go further in the playoffs.
NBA Pacific Division Contenders
Los Angeles Clippers (+430)
Will the Clippers finally stay healthy this season? And will they add James Harden? A lot of the larger factors in Los Angeles’ Pacific Division bid are unknown, which complicates things for bettors.
One thing we do know is that the clock is ticking for this Clippers team. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both potentially entering the final year of their respective contracts, and each is on the wrong side of 30.

Russell Westbrook is back for another go-around, but it’s hard to say exactly how much that helps. And while the depth is there, the Clippers would seriously benefit from making a trade or two to bring in more youth and establish a more definite rotation.
At this time, there are just too many question marks surrounding Los Angeles to recommend a bet at (+430).
Sacramento Kings (+450)
Caesars Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 Units
The Kings are the reigning Pacific Division champions, and there’s reason to believe that they’ll only get better from here. Just one of their usual starters will be 30 or older this coming season, meaning their best players are either still getting better or only just beginning to peak.
Offense was the name of the game for Sacramento in 2022-23. The Kings ranked No. 1 in points per game and offensive rating, though there’s certainly some room for improvement on the defensive end.
It’s important to note that this is a regular-season award, and since Sacramento won’t be load-managing its stars, it may have the upper hand in several head-to-head matchups. With that in mind, the Kings are absolutely worth a bet at (+450).
NBA Pacific Division Sleeper
Los Angeles Lakers (+750)
Caesars Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.25 Units
Despite finishing the regular season on a 16-7 run and reaching the Western Conference Finals, the Lakers are a distant fifth in the Pacific Division standings. The vast majority of the starters and role players that made that stretch possible are set to return, too.
Los Angeles did finish last in the division this past season, and its rivals have only gotten better since then, but there’s something to be said about how well this team performed when it mattered most.
Health will be a big factor here — LeBron James and Anthony Davis played 55 and 56 games last season, respectively — but at (+750), this may be worth a sprinkle.
