Golden Knights vs Stars Prop Bets

Last Updated: May 28, 2023

The Vegas Golden Knights can once again close out the Dallas Stars in Game 6 of the Western Conference final in Dallas on Monday.

If you are unsure about which team will win but still want to get in on the wagering action, consider a prop wager for the third-and-final conference-final game in North Texas.

Here are a few prop wagers I like for Game 6.

Golden Knights vs Stars Prop Odds • Game 6

Compare the best Stanley Cup playoff player prop lines below with our NHL odds:

Golden Knights vs Stars Player Props • Game 6

Jonathan Marchessault Anytime Goal (+160)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Marchessault has been the hottest Vegas forward offensively, with 12 points in the Golden Knights’ past seven games and six in their five conference-final games against the Stars.

His three-game goal streak was snapped in Game 5, but Marchessault still had two assists. The Golden Knights’ top line of Marchessault, Jack Eichel, and Ivan Barbashev have been on fire all series, and should produce again in Game 6.

Take the Vegas sniper to score as our NHL bet of the day.

Jason Robertson Over 3.5 Shots (-105)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Dallas may be on the verge of elimination, but it’s not because of Robertson. The Stars’ star forward has 14 shots in the past two games, including 11 in Dallas’ victory in Game 4.

Robertson has five goals in the five games, which means he’s due for a goal regression. But with Dallas in desperation mode, Robertson should be firing at will.

Golden Knights vs Stars Team Props • Game 6

60 Minute Line: Draw (+310)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 Units

There has been overtime in three of the first five games, which means these teams are insanely close.

I predicted a one-goal game decided in OT. If you agree there’ll be another overtime game, this is the prop to pick.

The Vegas Golden Knights can close out the Dallas Stars in Game 5 of the Western Conference final on Saturday in Las Vegas.

I think Vegas will earn a berth in the Stanley Cup Final by defeating Dallas on home ice, but if you disagree or are uncertain about the Golden Knights claiming the conference in Game 5, maybe consider a prop bet.

Here are some props I like for Game 5 between Dallas and Vegas.

Golden Knights vs Stars Prop Odds • Game 5

Compare the best Stanley Cup playoff player prop lines below with our NHL odds:

Golden Knights vs Stars Player Props • Game 5

Shea Theodore: Over 1.5 Blocked Shots (-150)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

This prop is about the limit in terms of odds, since a winning wager will only produce $0.67 profit per $1 bet. Still, the Golden Knights are expert shot-blockers, and Theodore is one of the most active on the team.

Theodore has blocked six shots in four games and surpassed two in half the games in the series. He’s coming off a goose egg in the shot-blocks department in Game 4, which means he should get back on track in Game 5.

The Golden Knights are averaging 16.5 blocked shots per game in the series, which means any of their defensemen’s shot-blocks props is a good wager. Theodore’s prop is the best combination of favorable odds and likeliness to hit, making this my NHL bet of the day.

Ivan Barbashev: Over 0.5 Points (+120)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Somehow Barbashev was held off the board in Game 4 despite the fact his linemates Jonathan Marchessault and Jack Eichel teamed up for a goal.

Marchessault is red-hot, with goals in three straight games and six goals in Vegas’ past five. Chances are, if he (or Eichel for that matter) scores in Game 5, Barbashev will have a point, since the Moscow-born wing has 13 points in 15 Vegas postseason games.

Golden Knights vs Stars Team Props • Game 5

Race to 2 Goals (Excluding Overtime): Vegas (-115)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

The Golden Knights have been the first team to hit three goals twice in the series, including each previous odd-numbered game in the series.

Vegas should be spurred on by its raucous home crowd since it is 6-2 in games at T-Mobile Arena in the playoffs. Dallas may rally, since it rallied twice and tied the game after losing the race to two goals in the series.

I think Vegas will win the race to three goals in regulation, but if you’re anxious about a 3-2 game decided in OT, this is a solid hedge.

Golden Knights Win in 60 Minutes (+120)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Vegas has only won once in regulation in this series, but is also 8-3 in games decided in 60 minutes in the playoffs.

The Golden Knights should be able to build an early lead and hold off the Stars late.

The Dallas Stars need a win to stay alive in the Western Conference final against the Vegas Golden Knights.

I think the Stars will win on home ice to keep their season going, but the Golden Knights have proven me wrong before. Thus, I’m more focused on prop wagers.

Here are some prop bets I like for Golden Knights vs Stars Game 4.

Golden Knights vs Stars Prop Odds • Game 4

Compare the best Stanley Cup playoff player prop lines below with our NHL odds:

Golden Knights vs Stars Player Props • Game 4

Ivan Barbashev: Over 0.5 Points (+125)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Barbashev has been an x-factor for the Golden Knights in the playoffs. After posting a 0.55 points per game average during the regular season, the top-line left wing has 12 points in 13 postseason games and is coming off a three-point effort in Game 3.

Playing alongside potential Conn Smythe Trophy winner Jack Eichel and red-hot right wing Jonathan Marchessault, Barbashev is also on a burner with four points in three Western Conference final games.

Look for him to put up at least one more in Game 4 with your NHL bet of the day.

Roope Hintz: Anytime Goal (+130)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Hintz has just one goal in the series but is still leading all active players with 10 goals. If the Stars are going to keep the series going — as I expect them to — Hintz will likely need to produce at least a point and more likely score a goal.

Golden Knights vs Stars Team Props • Game 4

Stars Win in 60 Minutes (+125)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Dallas is 0-4 in overtime and was just 4-11 in games decided in 3-on-3 overtime during the regular season.

If the Stars are going to win a game in this series, they’ll need to do so in regulation, especially with the added pressure of needing a win to extend their series.

Race to 3 Goals (Excluding Overtime): Stars (+125)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

As stated above, Dallas is not likely to win in overtime, and the first team to score three has won each of the first three games, even with the twists and lead changes associated with playoff hockey.

If you think the game will be 2-2 going to OT, then take neither (+320) in the race to 3. Otherwise, Dallas should be the first to get there if it’s going to win.

The Western Conference final has been as close as possible through two games.

The Vegas Golden Knights have claimed a pair of overtime victories, including its come-from-behind 3-2 win in Game 2. The series will shift to Dallas, where the Stars have been great, boasting a 5-2 record this postseason.

However, the Golden Knights have been one of the best road teams in hockey all season, leaving the final outcome very much in doubt. If you’re anxious about which team will win, but still want to get in on the action, try a prop wager, which is a bet that is not reliant on the final outcome.

Here are some props I like for Game 3.

Golden Knights vs Stars Prop Odds • Game 3

Compare the best Stanley Cup playoff player prop lines below with our NHL odds:

Golden Knights vs Stars Player Props • Game 3

Joe Pavelski: Anytime Goal (+180)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Though linemates Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz have each scored goals, Pavelski has been quiet, with just two assists in Game 1.

Pavelski is on a three-game goalless drought but has done most of his offensive damage at American Airlines Center. The veteran top-line right wing has six goals in five home games, including his four-goal game in Dallas’ OT loss to Seattle in Game 1.

I think Robertson, Hintz, and Pavelski could score in Game 3. But Pavelski’s odds are the most lucrative since his scoring will fetch $1.80 profit per $1 wagered.

Take Pavelski to light the lamp as our NHL bet of the day.

Max Domi Over 0.5 Points (+120)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Domi has been an X-factor for the Stars in the postseason, centering their second line with Mason Marchmant and Tyler Seguin, but does not have a point and is minus-4 in the series.

But if Domi is producing points, the Stars are usually winning since depth scoring is the name of the game this time of the year. He has seven points in Dallas’ eight wins and five points in the Stars’ seven home games this postseason.

With plus-money odds, and Dallas needing to put up goals in order to get back in this series, I’ll take Domi to pick up either a goal or an assist in Game 3.

its five home victories this postseason.

Golden Knights vs Stars Team Props • Game 3

Stars Win in 60 Minutes (+120)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

If you read my Stars vs Golden Knights prediction for Game 3, you know I took Dallas to win handily. After going 4-11 in games decided in overtime during the regular season, the Stars are 0-4 in overtime in the playoffs with two of those defeats in the first two games in Vegas.

The Stars are 5-0 in home games decided in regulation in the playoffs, with four multi-goal victories. I think the puck-line wager is a solid bet, but if you’re leery of Dallas winning by at least two, this is a really solid hedge with plus-money odds.

The Vegas Golden Knights will try to take a commanding 2-0 lead over the Dallas Stars in Game 2 of the Western Conference final at T-Mobile Arena.

Game 1 of the series was decided in overtime, and this series should be fairly close. If you’re unsure how Game 2 will go, prop betting will be a good option.

Here are some player and team props I like for Game 2 of Dallas vs Vegas.

Golden Knights vs Stars Prop Odds • Game 2

Compare the best Stanley Cup playoff player prop lines below with our NHL odds:

Golden Knights vs Stars Player Props • Game 2

Jason Robertson Anytime Goal (+145)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Robertson is a world-class goal scorer and snapped his eight-game goalless drought by scoring in Game 1. Once a goal scorer like Robertson gets going, he usually stays hot, especially in a series that should feature high-scoring games.

Look for Robertson to light the lamp again in Game 2 as our NHL bet of the day.

Jack Eichel: Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-105)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Eichel had four shots in Game 1 and hit the four-shot plateau for the third time in his past four games. Eichel averaged 3.3 shots per game during the regular season and has been more shot heavy in the playoffs by averaging 3.6 per game.

Dallas gave up a bunch of shots in the first period before settling in. But I picked the Stars to win Game 2, and if they are holding a lead late they’re more inclined to surrender shots as well.

Golden Knights vs Stars Team Props • Game 2

Race to 3 Goals: Stars (+155)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

The Stars have scored at least three goals in seven of their eight wins, with the only sub-three-goal win coming in Game 7 against the Kraken.

The winning team should be the first team to score three, since Vegas was the first to hit the three-goal mark in Game 1 despite the fact the game went to overtime.

I picked the Stars to win, thus I think they’ll be the first to three.

Stars Over 3.5 Team Goals (+175)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

The Stars have surpassed four goals in seven of their 14 playoff games, including six of their eight wins. Dallas isn’t likely to win a low-scoring game, even with Oettinger in goal.

The winning team in each game in this series should get to four goals, outside of a Game 7. This prop is the pick for whichever team you feel will win.

The Western Conference final will open with Game 1 between the Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights on Friday at T-Mobile Arena.

The Stars and Golden Knights have been two of the best teams in the Western Conference, and the series features some great young star power. Thus, it should be a series tailor made for prop betting.

Here are a couple of prop wagers I like for Vegas-Dallas Game 1.

Golden Knights vs Stars Prop Odds • Game 1

Compare the best Stanley Cup playoff player prop lines below with our NHL odds:

Golden Knights vs Stars Player Props • Game 1

Jack Eichel: Anytime Goal (+150) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Stars are allowing four goals per game through six road games and allowed 5.33 per game in their three away games against the Seattle Kraken. Goalie Jake Oettinger was pulled in two of those three.

Eichel is tied for the Vegas lead in goals (six) and has scored exactly half of those at T-Mobile Arena.

Vegas and Dallas are two good defensive teams, but don’t be surprised if Game 1 is a fast-paced, free-wheeling style of play with a lot of goals.

If Game 1 is high-scoring, Eichel is a good pick to score. Take him to do so as our NHL bet of the day.

Jason Robertson: Anytime Goal (+150) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Robertson finished seventh in the league in goals (46) yet is currently nursing an eight-game goalless drought, which is two games more than his longest drought during the regular season.

But things can shift drastically from series to series. Again, I get the sense that Game 1 will be super entertaining, and Robertson is one of those young stars I was referencing above who is poised to break out.

Robertson is almost certainly banged up, and he’ll have some combination of Mark Stone, Alex Pietrangelo, and Shea Theodore following him around for most of the series. But Robertson is long overdue to score, and I think he’ll do so in Game 1.

Golden Knights vs Stars Team Props • Game 1

Race to 3 Goals: Golden Knights (+120) • Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

If you’re worried about a low-scoring game — a valid concern based on the increased stakes and each team’s really good goaltending — take Vegas to win the race to two at -110.

But picking the winning team to be the first to reach three goals is an extremely strong play.

Golden Knights: Over 3.5 Goals (+160) • Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Golden Knights haven’t scored fewer than four goals in any win and haven’t even reached two in any of their playoff losses.

Between the trend and the plus-money odds, this Over is a really enticing play.
