After rattling off three straight wins, Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams are suddenly in the thick of the NFC playoff hunt. Sitting at 6-6, they can get above .500 with a win over Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
Jackson is on the short list of candidates for this year’s NFL MVP Award and his strong play has the Ravens in position to potentially earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Rams vs Ravens Predictions
Score Pick: Ravens 27, Rams 13
The Ravens have the best scoring defense in the NFL, holding opponents to just 15.6 points per game. Now they’ll face a Rams offense that has been playing well during the team’s winning streak but has some health concerns for key players like Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
It has been reported that Nacua is dealing with an AC sprain in his shoulder. While it isn’t expected to sideline him, he’ll be playing at less than 100%. Meanwhile, Kupp hasn’t looked right since suffering a low-ankle sprain in Week 11, and tight end Tyler Higbee sustained a neck injury in the win over the Browns last week.
The injuries to the Rams’ pass catchers will prove too much for Stafford to overcome against a ferocious Ravens defense, and Jackson should continue to bolster his case for MVP.
Rams vs Ravens Best Bets & Props
Ravens -7.5 (-102)
FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 2 units
The Ravens are 8-4 against the spread this season and have covered in 13 of their last 17 games played in December, per Odds Shark. Additionally, six of the Ravens’ past seven wins have come by more than eight points. A pivotal home game against a middling Rams team sets up for another blowout victory, making this my NFL bet of the day.
Under 42.5 (-110)
FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit
According to Odds Shark, 10 of the Ravens’ last 13 games at home have stayed Under the total. And the Under has similarly hit in 14 of the Rams’ past 16 games played against an AFC North opponent.
Considering the Ravens’ league-leading scoring defense and the Rams’ injuries on offense, the Under looks like a solid bet.
Ravens Winning Margin 14+ Points (+170)
FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 units
The Ravens haven’t just been winning this season – they’ve been winning big. They rank third in the NFL in average margin of victory (11.4), with four of their past seven triumphs being by 14 points or more. Expect another blowout victory against a Rams team that will struggle to keep up on both sides of the ball.
Rams vs Ravens Same-Game Parlay
Rams vs Ravens SGP (+359)
FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 units
- Ravens -13.5 (+186)
- Under 43.5 (-136)
We’re taking the Ravens on an alternate spread, which aligns with the previous prediction that they’ll win by at least 14 points, and parlaying it with an alternate total, having bought a point for insurance.
The Rams are playing solid football, but they haven’t faced a team nearly as talented as the Ravens during their three-game winning streak.
