Jalen Hurts didn’t have to do much in the Eagles’ win over the 49ers, as the blowout game-script kept his passing and rushing volume in check.
However, the matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs projects as a close game, making it an intriguing spot. It’s expected to be a high-scoring game, so Hurts will have an opportunity to put up big numbers.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at Jalen Hurts prop bets for Super Bowl 57.

Jalen Hurts Rush Attempts Prop
Jalen Hurts: Over 10.5 Rush Attempts (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Hurts averaged 11 rush attempts per game during the season. This could have been even higher because the Eagles won five games by 14 or more points, resulting in them taking their foot off the gas and limiting Hurts’ usage.
Furthermore, even with the injured shoulder, we’ve seen Philadelphia continue to allow their star quarterback to run the ball. In two postseason games, Hurts has combined for 20 carries.
The last selling point here is that Hurts gets an extra week of rest before this game, which could allow him to feel more comfortable taking off on the ground. At 10.5 rush attempts, we’re getting a relatively reasonable number.

Jalen Hurts Pass Attempts Prop
Jalen Hurts: Under 31.5 Pass Attempts (-125) at DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Here we have a prop that has a strong correlation with our rush attempts selection. That’s because if Hurts is running more, he’s likely throwing at a lower rate.
During the season, Hurts averaged just over 30 attempts per game, so this number is a bit of a high bar. I expect the Eagles to control this game with their elite rushing attack, resulting in fewer passes from Hurts.
I don’t think we need to worry about the Eagles falling behind by double-digits here, so Hurts should continue staying below this prop. In two postseason games, Hurts has combined for 49 attempts.
Jalen Hurts Head-to-Head Prop
Jalen Hurts: +54.5 Passing Yards vs Patrick Mahomes (-115) at DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Hurts averaged 246.7 passing yards per game, which was 62.1 fewer than Mahomes. However, getting 54 yards on the underdog is a high number.
We have to remember that Mahomes is going up against an elite pass defense (first in Pass DVOA, Football Outsiders) with an imposing pass rush (four players with double-digit sacks).
There’s a chance that the Eagles can do enough to slow down Mahomes and allow Hurts to cover this prop. It also helps that the Chiefs ranked 20th in Pass DVOA this season.
