NFL Prop Bets Today: Best Week 18 Player Props & Picks

Last Updated: Jan 1, 2026

Week 18 of the NFL season is always tricky when it comes to NFL player props.

Not every team is motivated, and not every player suits up.

Luckily, we’ve done the legwork of deciphering what players will be on the field, trying their best, and set up for success to help determine the best NFL prop bets today.

Best NFL Props Today

All NFL odds used in these Week 18 prop bets are current as of Thursday, Jan. 1, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Trevor Lawrence: 3+ Passing Touchdowns (+156) vs Titans

This might be my NFL pick of the day because of how good Lawrence has been and the value of this bet.

While the Indy defense kept him under wraps last week by allowing no passing touchdowns, Lawrence had five straight games with multiple touchdowns before that, including three with at least three TD passes.

Meanwhile, the Titans have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in five of their last six contests, including two games in which they allowed three.

That makes this a favorable matchup for Lawrence, setting up the possibility of a big game.

Riley Leonard: 2+ Interceptions (+196) @ Texans

This is another bet in which we’re taking a little more risk to get better value.

The Houston defense has allowed the fewest points in the league, and they aren’t going to take it easy on Leonard in his first career start. The 23-year-old already has two interceptions in his first 33 career pass attempts.

The Texans have forced the fourth-most picks in the league and have at least one interception in four straight games.

Houston forced Patrick Mahomes into three interceptions a few weeks ago, so it’s not far-fetched that they can get two picks off an inexperienced quarterback like Leonard.

Bijan Robinson: Over 18.5 Rush Attempts (+102) vs Saints

After gaining 195 yards on 22 carries against the Rams last week, it’d be shocking if the Falcons didn’t give the ball to Robinson early and often against the Saints.

New Orleans is tough against the run, having held Robinson to just 70 yards on 14 carries in November.

However, Robinson has gone over 18.5 rush attempts in four of his five games since that meeting with the Saints, who have faced the third-most rush attempts in the league this season.

That makes Robinson’s rush attempts a good target for NFL player props this week.

Caleb Williams: Over 236.5 Passing Yards (-111) vs Lions

Williams has come a long way from the quarterback who threw for just 207 yards in a loss to the Lions in Week 2.

He has thrown for at least 240 yards in three straight games, playing some of his best football with the playoffs on the horizon.

This week, he gets to play an unmotivated Detroit defense at home. The Lions give up close to 240 passing yards per game and have allowed the fourth-most pass plays of 20 yards or more.

This matchup sets Williams up to create some big plays down the field and rack up plenty of passing yards in a game the Bears would love to win to secure the No. 2 seed in the NFC.

How NFL Prop Betting Works

When betting on NFL props, you can bet on either player, team, or game.

Player props involve an individual player’s performance, either in one game or for the entire season. Team props have to do with a team’s performance in one game. Game props refer to specific situations within a game.

For example, let’s say you’re betting on a player prop in the Chiefs vs. Raiders. You decide to bet on Travis Kelce over 90.5 receiving yards. This means that for you to win your bet, Kelce would need to have at least 91 receiving yards.

If you’re interested in a player prop that pays more with plus moneyline odds, you can wager on a player to score a touchdown in a specific game. For example, if I bet Javonte Williams to score a touchdown against the Giants (+170), I would win $17 on a $10 bet.

You can also decide to bet on a player’s season-long totals. For example, you can wager on Derrick Henry under 1575.5 rushing yards. You would need Henry to get fewer than 1576 rushing yards to win your bet.

Keep an eye out for any minimum games requirements, because if the player doesn’t meet this threshold, the bet could become void.

Team props are available in specific games. For example, you can wager on the Seattle Seahawks to get over 3.5 sacks, where you would need four or more sacks to win the game.

NFL betting picks can also be made on game props, such as the longest field goal or longest touchdown.

Best NFL Prop Betting Sites

DraftKings

DraftKings props are some of the best for NFL prop betting. Game, team, and player props are all available for you to wager on.

There is an extensive list of player props, especially season-long props, which helps set it apart from other sportsbooks that only include a few. You can bet on a player’s passing yards, receptions, rushing yards, and much more.

There are even specific props called specials, which include things like starting quarterback battles for Week 1 of the NFL season.

You can also parlay player props in single games to increase your payouts. This is not always available at other sportsbooks.

FanDuel

FanDuel is similar to DraftKings, as both only used to provide daily fantasy before expanding into sports betting. You’ll also find a wide variety of props available here.

One thing that helps set FanDuel apart from other sportsbooks is that just like DraftKings, you’ll find several marquee players available for you to place a season-long player prop.

You can also parlay single player props in single games to increase your payouts.

bet365

bet365 Sportsbook features several game, player, and team props. There are many options for season-long props, whether you want to wager on a player to win MVP or if you think Chris Godwin will go under on his receiving yards line.

bet365 also includes “Bet Builder” for specific primetime games. This allows you to build a parlay featuring several props for higher payouts.

bet365 also allows you to request specific props if they aren’t available, making it one of the more user-friendly sportsbooks around.

BetMGM

BetMGM has a sleek and appealing website that makes the betting process easier for you. One thing that sets it apart on props is how detailed some of the season-long props are.

For example, you can wager on the exact win total for a team instead of just going over on a specific line. You’re also able to bet on the week of a team’s first loss, which can help you earn higher payouts. It’s a cool feature that isn’t available at other sportsbooks.

How To Pick the Best NFL Prop Betting Sites

Variety of Props

It’s great to have a variety of props available. Some sportsbooks like BetMGM have gotten creative in their season-long props, allowing you to bet on specific win totals.

Other sportsbooks like DraftKings give you several players to choose from, whether you’re betting on a specific game or season totals.

Variety is great because not only does it give you more opportunities to win, but it’s more fun.

Odds on Props

Prop bets usually differ on sportsbooks, especially player props. It’s important to explore different sportsbooks to see where you get the best line.

For example, bet365 currently has Travis Kelce’s receiving yards prop line set at 1400.5 receiving yards, but FanDuel has it at 1375 receiving yards. Often it’s best to just choose the sportsbook that gives you the better line.

With this specific prop example, it would be better to go with bet365.

Parlay Options

Prop bets are not usually available for parlays. There are only a few sportsbooks that allow users to combine their props into a parlay for a higher payout.

DraftKings and FanDuel allow users to do this on certain player props when making their NFL parlay bets. bet365 also does this with its Bet Builder feature, which is available for primetime games, such as Sunday Night Football.

Welcome Bonuses & Promotions

It’s always great to choose a sportsbook that provides you with a welcome bonus because it allows you to have a trial run for the sportsbook to see if you like its prop selection. Promotions are great as well, as they help you get more value on your bet.

For example, odds boosts are when a specific prop gets higher odds, even on regular lines, which is helpful for users since it increases the potential winnings.

NFL Prop Betting Promotions

There are a few promotions that help users get more value on their bets. Prop boosts are when the odds on a prop are moved towards the bettor’s favor.

For example, if I bet on Chris Godwin over 88.5 receiving yards, the moneyline might be at (+200) instead of (-110). This means that I would win $20 on a $10 bet, instead of risking $11 to win $10.

There are also welcome bonuses, where a sportsbook matches your deposit up to a certain amount, as well as second-chance bets, where you are refunded your first wager on the website.

Be sure to take advantage of football betting promotions — they can help put you in a better position to succeed in sports betting.

Best NFL Prop Bets

The best types of NFL prop bets are season-long and single-game player props, as it’s easier to project how much usage a player will get during the season. It’s much more simple to analyze this than a team prop like total sacks or longest field goal.

Let’s take a deeper look at why player props are the best option for you.

NFL Player Props

NFL player props are when you bet on a player’s performance, whether in a single game or for the entire season.

If I wager on Mike Evans over 84.5 receiving yards against the Falcons, I need him to get at least 85 yards for me to win that bet. Likewise, if I bet on D.K. Metcalf over 1,300.5 receiving yards for the season, I need him to finish with more than 1,300 yards to win.

Player props are the best choice for NFL prop betting.

NFL Prop Betting Strategy

Player props are the best because it’s much easier to anticipate a player’s usage in a single game. You can also pay attention to the points spread, game totals, and player injuries to help guide you in your prop.

Let’s say that I wanted to wager on Josh Jacobs to go over 18.5 rush attempts against the Lions. First, I’d check his season-long usage and see that he averaged 19.1 rush attempts per game last season. Next, I’d take a look at the points spread. The Packers are 3-point favorites against the Lions.

In this case, the over would be a solid play because the Packers are short favorites, which means that they are projected to play with the lead. What happens when teams are leading, especially by multiple scores? They run the ball more.

This scenario is what’s called a positive game-script for Jacobs, because he’s likely in a position to receive more rush attempts, since the Packers could control this game.

When you take a look at a player’s performance combined with the spread, total, and any relevant injuries, player props will become easier.

Benefits of NFL Prop Betting Online

Betting on NFL props is better online because of how easy it is. You just need to deposit your funds and click your preferred wager and you’re ready for action. This is much more efficient than traveling to your local casino and wagering at the sportsbook.

You can also parlay your props on a few websites which can lead to bigger payouts. Lastly, online is best for live betting. Live betting requires you to make a quick decision, usually during a commercial break, so you need that efficiency that betting online provides.

It’s very important to choose multiple sites to place bets on props. For one, you need to compare the odds.
