Still chasing the top seed in the NFC, the Los Angeles Rams (11-4) will visit the Atlanta Falcons (6-9).

However, coming off back-to-back wins with Kirk Cousins at quarterback, oddsmakers believe the Falcons will find some success offensively, potentially staying within a touchdown.

MNF Score Prediction: Rams 34, Falcons 21
While it appears that the Falcons are playing better down the stretch, wins over the struggling Buccaneers and Cardinals aren’t the same as going toe-to-toe with the Rams.
Feeling as if they let a game get away from them last week, the Rams will come out with a point to prove, much like they did in a 45-17 win over the Cardinals that came off a loss.

To his credit, Kirk Cousins has led the Falcons to a couple of wins, taking advantage of Atlanta’s playmakers. However, things may not come as easily this week against a Los Angeles defense that’s giving up fewer than 20 points per game despite giving up more than 30 points in three of their last four games.
Of course, even if the Rams aren’t stout defensively, the Atlanta defense can’t be trusted against Matthew Stafford and company.
The Rams have scored at least 34 points in seven of their last nine games, and if that trend continues against a lackluster Falcons defense, Cousins and the Atlanta offense will have trouble keeping pace.

If this game becomes a shootout, the Falcons may have a tough time staying within a touchdown of the Rams for 60 minutes.

While Cousins isn’t the same quarterback he was in his prime, he has thrown multiple touchdown passes in back-to-back games.
That’s a sign that he’s getting comfortable with the talented group of playmakers around him.
More importantly, the last four quarterbacks to face the Rams have thrown multiple touchdown passes, making it tough to turn down plus odds for Cousins doing the same.
