Eagles vs Giants Predictions & Best Bets

Last Updated: Jan 3, 2024

There are plenty of great games to win money on in the final week of the NFL regular season.

It’s been a chaotic campaign, and looking at the NFL Week 18 odds, it’s clear that trend should continue to the finish.

The favored Philadelphia Eagles will hope to avoid the mess when they travel to face the New York Giants.

While both teams know if the season continues for them after this week, the Eagles are playing for stakes with the NFC East title on the line, while the Giants’ result could have major draft-order implications.

Eagles vs Giants Odds

NFL odds used for this Philadelphia vs New York preview were found at FanDuel Sportsbook and are current as of Jan. 2 at 11:30 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Eagles (-230) • Giants (+190)
  • Spread: Eagles -5.5 (-105) • Giants +5.5 (-115)
  • Total Points: Over 41.5 (-105) • Under 41.5 (-115)
  • Implied Score: Eagles 23.5, Giants 17.5

Eagles vs Giants Predictions

Score Pick: Eagles 31, Giants 17

In a meeting between these teams on Christmas Day, the Eagles largely controlled the contest despite the score being close at 33-25.

While Philadelphia is far from settled as a team heading into the postseason, it should be able to navigate this contest against the battered Giants. With the division on the line, there should be complete focus as the Eagles look to get in sync before playoffs start.

The Dallas Cowboys will be facing off against the Washington Commanders at the same time, so expect the Eagles to go all out through to the final whistle. Regardless, Philadelphia could use the game for some additional tune-up.

Eagles vs Giants Best Bets & Props

Race to 20 points: Philadelphia Eagles (-135)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 2 units

In a battle between two bad defenses, the Eagles should be able to find points thanks to their playmakers surrounding the offense. That makes this wager the NFL bet of the day.

In their Week 16 contest, Jalen Hurts threw for over 300 yards. Additionally, their running back room averaged over five yards a carry. That well-balanced efficiency should result in points.

The Giants’ offensive attack has been sporadic this season, averaging just 14.9 points per game to rank 30th in the league. In a race to 20 points, the Eagles have a big leg up.

Eagles Over 23.5 (-104)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

Philadelphia has surpassed this total in 10 of 16 games this season, and despite the struggles, it has still outproduced this number in its last two contests.

This number seems to be an overcorrection on the Eagles’ team struggles and a misread on their scoring ability.

The Giants have a bottom-five scoring defense, but to pair with that, so do the Eagles. That should mean there are plenty of offensive opportunities, and the points should come.

Eagles -2.5 Alt (-198)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1.5 units

In a game with playoff stakes, the Eagles enter as the better team and have more to play for. With familiarity in the matchup from just two weeks ago, they should be able to repeat a lot of their success from Christmas Day.

The Eagles will need to step up defensively, as Tyrod Taylor has the ability to find production as a deep passer. However, Philadelphia has enough firepower to win comfortably in a battle between two bad defenses.

Eagles vs Giants Same-Game Parlay

Eagles vs Giants SGP (+194)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 2 units

  • Race to 20 Points: Eagles (-135)
  • Eagles -2.5 Alternate (-198)
  • Eagles Over 23.5 (-112)
  • Giants Over 9.5 (-650)
  • Over 34.5 Alternate (-302)

There isn’t a lot of optimism surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles right now, but the team still has the ability to produce.

In this game, the Eagles should be able to find some offensive success against one of the worst defensive units in the NFL.

The rest of this parlay is additional sprinkles with the Giants scoring 10 or more and the game getting over 34.5.

With the Eagles having injury problems in the secondary, there should be a few scoring opportunities for the Giants so that they can contribute enough to add to this parlay.
