Colts vs Titans Predictions & Best Bets

Last Updated: Nov 30, 2023

The Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans will face off in an AFC South showdown in Week 13. These teams have been trending in opposite directions recently despite the Titans ending a three-game skid with a 17-10 win over the hapless Panthers.

The Colts have put together a three-game winning streak and are now in second place in the AFC South, making their defense a potential Week 13 waiver wire target in fantasy football. Even with rookie Anthony Richardson sidelined until 2024, Indianapolis has its sights on a potential spot in the playoffs.

With these teams looking to finish the season strong, here are our predictions and best bets for the Colts against the Titans.

Colts vs Titans Odds

NFL odds used for this Indianapolis vs Tennessee preview were found at DraftKings Sportsbook and are current as of Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline: Colts (-120) • Titans (+100)
  • Spread: Colts -1 (-110) • Titans +1 (-110)
  • Total Points: Over 42.5 (-112) • Under 42.5 (-108)
  • Implied Score: Colts 22, Titans 20.5

Colts vs Titans Predictions

Score Pick: Colts 24, Titans 20

With Richardson inactive, Gardner Minshew has kept the offense afloat and is playing at a solid enough level to win games.

Aside from an outlier against the Patriots in Germany in Week 10, the Colts have posted 27 or more points in four of their most recent games.

Rookie Will Levis threw four touchdown passes to beat the Falcons in his first career start, but the Titans have gone 1-3 since. While the Colts don’t have a dominant defense, DeForest Buckner can wreak havoc in the interior to make things difficult for Levis.

The Titans are 4-0 at home this season, but none of those victories came against a team that currently has a winning record. Meanwhile, the Colts are 3-1 on the road this season, beating the Panthers, Ravens, and Texans.

Colts vs Titans Best Bets & Props

Colts -1 (-110)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

Taking Indianapolis on the spread provides us with better value than wagering on the moneyline.

The Colts have improved in recent weeks with Jonathan Taylor a focal point of the offense, but he’ll now miss multiple weeks due to surgery on his thumb.

With him sidelined, Zack Moss returns to a larger role. He gashed the Titans for 165 yards and two touchdowns in the first meeting back in Week 5.

On the other hand, the offense of the Titans has looked sluggish in recent weeks, producing 17 or fewer points in four consecutive games.

In their four official road games thus far, the Colts are 3-1 ATS, which makes this our NFL bet of the day.

Over 42.5 (-112)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

While the Titans have failed to put up points consistently in recent weeks, the Colts have been involved in shootouts due to their pace of play.

There isn’t a team that operates faster than Indy, which averages 23.4 seconds per snap.

The Colts are 7-4 to the Over this season, including 4-2 in their last six games overall. And the Titans are 2-2 to the Over at home this season.

With the Titans having a pass-funnel defense that ranks 30th in pass-defense DVOA and second in run-defense DVOA, Minshew is likely to connect on a few chunk plays and generate some quick points.

Levis should likewise be able to hit a couple of deep shots, and Derrick Henry figures to break a big run or two to help achieve the Over.

Colts Over 20.5 (-125)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

To the credit of first-year head coach Shane Steichen, the Indy offense has remained a formidable unit despite Richardson’s season-ending shoulder injury.

The Colts are tied for the eighth-most points per game (24.5), and they’ve scored at least 21 points in nine of their 11 contests. In the first meeting against the Titans in Week 5, they notched 23 points despite Richardson exiting the game early.

While the Titans are giving up 20.4 points per game (tied for the ninth fewest in the NFL), the Colts will do enough damage through the air to reach 21 points in this divisional contest.

Colts vs Titans Same-Game Parlay

Colts vs Titans SGP (+266)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 units

  • Colts Over 20.5 (-125)
  • Over 42.5 (-112)
  • Colts -1 (-110)

If you combine all three of our best bets on DraftKings, you can get a parlay at +266 odds.

Since the Colts have consistently scored 21-plus points all season, that should remain the case against a Titans defense that struggles against the pass. Given the pace that Indy plays at, the Over is an enticing bet.

And as opposed to taking the Colts on the moneyline at -120 odds, taking them on the spread offers better value.
