We’ve got an AFC West divisional clash between the Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) and Los Angeles Chargers (2-1) as one of the highlights this afternoon on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 4:25 p.m. ET.
The Chiefs narrowly escaped Atlanta with a win over the Falcons, while the Chargers are coming off a loss to the Steelers.
Can Kansas City stay undefeated? Or will Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers make a statement, even with a banged-up Justin Herbert? Check out the latest Chiefs vs Cardinals odds, predictions, and best bets for NFL Week 4.

Chiefs vs Chargers Prediction
Chargers 24, Chiefs 23
The Chiefs are 3-0, but they’ve been quite underwhelming on offense. Patrick Mahomes has five touchdowns and four interceptions, averaging only 7.2 yards per attempt.
The Chargers defense has been much-improved this season, currently ranking 7th in Pass EPA and 4th in Rush EPA. While Derwin James is out for this game, we could see this group still cause some problems for an overrated Chiefs offense.
Justin Herbert is banged up and questionable for this game, but he’s trending in the right direction. Look for the Chargers to lean on J.K. Dobbins — who has remarkably been one of the best backs in football — en route to an upset win.
Sportsbook Play of the Day
Chiefs vs Chargers Best Bets
Chargers +7 (-102) vs Chiefs
The Chiefs are favored by a touchdown because there’s still questions about Justin Herbert, but I’m betting that he’ll suit up for this game and do just enough to keep it close.
I’ve been disappointed with the Chiefs offense so far.
While the Chargers are dealing with other injuries — notably safety Derwin James, edge rusher Joey Bosa, and offensive tackle Joe Alt — I’m a big believer in Jim Harbaugh.
This is a statement game for the Chargers in the Harbaugh era. Look for them to keep it close behind their strong running game with your NFL bet of the day.
Over 40 Points (-110)
Isn’t it wild to see a Patrick Mahomes game total at 40 points, especially in an indoor environment? That’s where we’re at right now.
While the Chargers love to run the ball and Justin Herbert is banged up, I just can’t pass up on the Over on such a low bar of 40 points.
There’s a good chance that this will move up as we get closer to game time.
