Ravens vs Cardinals Predictions & Best Bets

Last Updated: Oct 26, 2023

The Baltimore Ravens head to the desert to face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8.

Baltimore is sitting atop the AFC North at 5-2 after hammering the Detroit Lions 38-6. Meanwhile, Arizona is 1-6 after dropping its fourth straight game, 20-10 to the Seattle Seahawks.

Can the Cardinals keep this close, if not pull off the upset? Let’s break down the matchup and some of our best bets for the AFC/NFC clash.

Ravens vs Cardinals Odds

NFL odds used for this Baltimore vs Arizona preview were found at DraftKings Sportsbook and are current as of Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. ET.

  • Moneyline: Ravens (-395) • Cardinals (+310)
  • Spread: Ravens -8 (-112) • Cardinals +8 (-108)
  • Total Points: Over 44 (-110) • Under 44 (-110)
  • Implied Score: Ravens 26, Cardinals 18

Ravens vs Cardinals Predictions

Score Pick: Ravens 30, Cardinals 17

Arizona has crashed back to reality following its Week 3 upset of Dallas. During their current four-game skid, the Cardinals have been outscored by an average of 15 points while failing to cover the spread.

The biggest concern might be Arizona’s defense, which now ranks in the bottom 10 in the NFL in both yards (368.3) and points (26) allowed per game.

Look for Lamar Jackson and the red-hot Ravens to exploit that.

Ravens vs Cardinals Best Bets & Props

Ravens -8 (-112)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

Some might flag this as a potential letdown spot for Baltimore, coming off a 38-6 beatdown of NFC North-leading Detroit. But don’t overthink it. This is a great opportunity for Jackson and Co. to stay hot.

Arizona’s run defense is ranked 25th in the NFL, coughing up 130.7 yards per game and allowing a 100-yard rusher in four of its last five contests.

While the Cardinals have been fairly competitive at home, with a 2-1 record against the spread, more regression is in store. Take Baltimore -8 as our NFL bet of the day.

Ravens -4.5 1H (+100)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

The Ravens have made a habit of starting fast. They’ve led at halftime each of the last four games: 21-3, 10-3, 18-3 and 24-0.

No matter how you slice it, that’s dominant. Look for that trend to continue against the lowly Cardinals.

Ravens Win Both Halves (+130)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

How do we put this nicely? The Cardinals have been bad as of late. They’ve managed just one touchdown over their last two games, double-digit losses to the Los Angeles Rams and Seahawks. With Joshua Dobbs struggling (51.8% completion rate over the last three games), Kyler Murray can’t return fast enough.

Jackson is again playing at an MVP level for Baltimore, and its defense remains highly productive.

Look for the Ravens to take care of business in both halves.

Ravens vs Cardinals Same Game Parlay

Ravens vs Cardinals SGP (+222)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

  • Ravens -6.5 (-154)
  • Over 42.5 (-140)
  • Ravens 1H (-190)

Arizona has been pesky at home, but Baltimore still should do enough to win by at least a touchdown. The Ravens’ third-ranked rushing attack (145 yards per game) is a particularly bad matchup for the Cardinals’ defense.

While Arizona has also struggled offensively, it’s still gone Over the total in all three home games. If both teams sputter early, I’m hedging the total to 42.5.
