Week 6 DraftKings Picks in DFS

Read to see Nate Hamilton’s Week 6 DraftKings Picks for DFS.

The key to building a tournament-winning DraftKings DFS lineup is to find value pricing on players who are set up to succeed each week.

The purpose of this article is to help you define which players you should be adding to your DFS lineups on the cheap, which will allow you to fill your remaining lineup with some elite chalk options.

Each week, I will give you a discount player at each position (QB, RB, WR, TE, DST) to help you build your winning lineup.

Now, let’s jump into my DraftKings DFS value picks for Week 6!

Week 6 DraftKings Picks

Quarterback

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans ($5,900) vs Houston Texans

Ryan Tannehill is coming off an impressively efficient game against the previously undefeated Buffalo Bills. He threw three touchdowns, ran in a score, and only had 195 yards but completed 21 of 28 pass attempts.

Tannehill has thrown 2 or more touchdowns in three of four games this season. I expect him to continue the trend in Week 6 against the Houston Texans, who rank 22nd against quarterbacks.

Bonus note: The Texans are sub-par against wide receivers and tight ends this year. I recommend you use the budget you are saving on the players in this article to triple stack Tannehill with his top two targets: WR A.J. Brown ($5,600) and TE Jonnu Smith ($5,200).

Running Back

Myles Gaskin, Miami Dolphins ($5,400) vs New York Jets

Myles Gaskin has been the most consistent running back for the Miami Dolphins since Week 1. He continues to receive the bulk of the workload on the ground but is also very much involved in the passing attack.

Gaskin has yet to have a game with fewer than 66 total yards. He has 23 receptions on the year, which is fourth- \best among running backs.

Meshing his workload with a Jets defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this year will produce a beautiful storm of a performance.

Wide Receiver

Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos ($4,500) @ New England Patriots

I’ve mentioned Patrick in my last two waiver wire articles.

He is still tremendously under-rostered in season-long fantasy leagues. It could be a case of ‘out of sight, out of mind’ since he and the Broncos did not play in Week 5, but I am expecting big things for Patrick in Week 6.

He is coming off back-to-back productive fantasy weeks with a combined 10 receptions for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns. I expect Patrick, who leads the team in receptions and snap%, to have a big game against the Patriots, whose defense ranks 30th against WRs.

Tight End

Evan Engram, New York Giants ($4,900) vs Washington Football Team

Evan Engram has not been what fantasy managers have hoped thus far this season. Sometimes, you have to put frustrations aside and play the opportunity game. His best opportunity is this week.

Engram has 32 targets on the season (fifth-best among tight ends). He has yet to catch a touchdown in 2020; however, I’d bet on his first to come against Washington, the worst defense versus tight ends.

Defense/Special Teams

Indianapolis Colts ($4,000) vs Cincinnati Bengals

Despite Indy’s recent positive COVID-19 tests, this game is still on as of Friday morning at 11 a.m. ET.

I’m back to paying up for defense, and I don’t care!

The Indianapolis Colts D/ST has scored double-digit fantasy points on DraftKings in three of five games this season. They continue to create turnovers with an impressive 9 interceptions on the year. Add on 11 sacks and a pair of safeties and touchdowns.

This week, the Colts defense stares down an offense ranked 22nd, making it a favorable fantasy-scoring draw for D/ST units. The Bengals offensive line has done an awful job protecting Joe Burrow. Look for the Colts to take advantage of this mismatch in Week 6.

Note: If the Colts-Bengals contest is postponed, pivot to the Miami Dolphins ($2,900), who host the Joe Flacco-piloted New York Jets.
