Week 15 Bet Data & Week 15 Bet Results

The biggest upset of the season took place late Sunday afternoon, as the previously winless Jets stunned the sports world, beating the Los Angeles Rams, 23-20. But the Week 15 Sunday slate of NFL games provided far more excitement than just one shocking upset. Read below for a full betting recap of how BetRivers.com and PlaySugarHouse.com bettors wagered on the penultimate week of regular-season action.

Week 15 Bet Data Results: 1 p.m. ET Games

Colts 27, Texans 20: Jonathan Taylor scored early in the first quarter (+500 1st TD) and the Colts (-7.5, -360 ML) got another early score from Zach Pascal to take a 14-0 lead. But the Texans (+295 ML) responded with a 38-yard TD pass from Deshaun Watson to Chad Hansen (+250 Anytime TD) and a FG to keep the game close at the half. A low scoring second-half led to nervous moments for bettors on all sides. Trailing by seven with 30 seconds left, Keke Coutee fumbled the ball on the Colts’ goal line. The ball spilled out the back of the end zone for a touchback, giving the Colts the ball, and giving Colts ML backers (92% of ML handle), Texans spread backers (17% of spread handle) and Under 51.5 backers (27% of O/U handle) a phrenetic win.

Ravens 40, Jaguars 14: Baltimore got things started early, forcing a Jacksonville safety on the first drive. The result scored a win for several bettors who wagered on the first scoring play being a Ravens safety (+6000), including a $22 wager that paid out $1,232. The Ravens (-12, -910 ML) dominated all areas of the first half, entering the half with a commanding 26-0 halftime lead over the Jaguars (+650 ML). Lamar Jackson had a day, tossing three TDs and running for another as Baltimore handled the Jaguars with relative ease, much to the pleasure of Ravens ML backers (96% of ML handle) and Ravens spread backers (84% of spread handle). Bettors on Over 49 (91% of O/U handle) had to sweat things out, but a garbage time TD pass from Gardner Minshew earned a win for the public as well.

Dolphins 22, Patriots 12: At Over/Under 40.5, Patriots (-1, -114 ML) at Dolphins (-103 ML) was responsible for the lowest O/U of Week 15. The public was on Under 40.5 (60% of O/U handle), and got exactly what they were looking for. Miami’s defense held the Patriots out of the end zone, and while Miami found paydirt three times, all three were goal line rushes. The line flipped from Dolphins -1.5 to Patriots -1 shortly before kickoff, but bettors stayed on Miami with 58% of the ML handle and 76% of the spread handle. It wasn’t pretty, but the result was exactly what the public was looking for.

Titans 46, Lions 25: At Over/Under 53.5, Lions (+360 ML) at Titans (-9, -435 ML) was responsible for the largest O/U of Week 15. The public was on Over 53.5 (83% of O/U handle), and got a lot of help early, with the Titans exploding for 24 first-half points. But the Lions helped too, with two first-half TDs and a safety. A low-scoring third quarter in which a Lions FG was the only score made for some nervous moments. But Tennessee got three fourth-quarter TDs to hit the over, and allowed just one second-half TD to DeAndre Swift — his second of the day (2TDs +850), making winners out of Titans ML backers (96% of ML handle) and Titans spread backers (89% of spread handle.)

Bears 33, Vikings 27: Bettors were on Over 47 (77% of O/U handle), and the two teams got off to a hot start, thanks to a Mitchell Trubisky to Darnell Mooney TD (1st TD +2000) for the Bears (+127 ML), followed quickly by a Dalvin Cook TD run for the Vikings (-2.5, -148 ML). David Montgomery scored twice as the Bears put up 30 or more points for the third straight game. The end result was great news for the public with the Bears ML (80% of ML handle) Bears spread (51% of spread handle) and Over 47 (71% of OU handle) all winning.

Seahawks 20, Washington 15: Bettors weren’t buying Washington (+240 ML) despite a four-game win streak, backing the Seahawks (-6, -278 ML) with 86% of the ML handle and 80% of the spread handle. With Alex Smith out with a calf injury, Dwayne Haskins made his first start since Week 4 and Washington’s offense couldn’t get much going for the first three quarters. But 12 unanswered points in the fourth quarter made for seven nervous minutes for the public. Washington drove deep into Seattle territory with under two minutes left, but Haskins took a sack on third down, and needing a TD, Washington couldn’t convert on fourth down.

Cowboys 41, 49ers 33: The public put a ton of late steam on the Cowboys (+4, +165 ML) against the 49ers (-190 ML), leaving the money split nearly even, with bettors backing Dallas with 48% of the ML handle and 47% of the spread handle. Even with Ezekiel Elliott inactive, the Cowboys raced out to a 14-0 lead thanks to a Tony Pollard rushing TD (+750 1st TD) and a short TD pass from Andy Dalton to Michael Gallup. But the 49ers responded as Nick Mullens tossed two first-half TDs to make it 17-14 at the end of the first half, great news for Over 45.5 backers (69% of O/U handle). The two teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 24, earning an early win for Over 45.5 backers (65% of O/U handle). Tony Pollard scored his second of the game on a 40-yard run late in the fourth, and CeeDee Lamb returned an onsides kick attempt 47 yards for a late TD to give the Cowboys their first two-game winning streak of the season.

Buccaneers 31 Falcons 27: A 17-0 halftime lead for the Falcons (+240 ML) all but evaporated in the third quarter thanks to two Leonard Fournette TDs and a Tom Brady to Chris Godwin TD pass as the Buccaneers (-6, -286 ML) entered the fourth quarter trailing 24-21. Tampa Bay continued the onslaught thanks to a 46-yard TD pass from Brady to Antonio Brown to hit Over 49.5 (80% of O/U handle). Atlanta could not convert on a late fourth-down attempt earning a clutch win for Tampa Bay ML backers (94% of ML handle).

Week 15 Bet Results: 4 p.m. ET Games

Jets 23, Rams 20: The Rams (-1667 ML), winners of four of their last five, found themselves trailing the winless Jets (+17, +1000 ML) 13-3 at the half and 20-3 early in the third quarter in the most surprising development of Week 15. The Rams outscored the Jets 17-10 in the second half, but when it mattered the most, Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles defense couldn’t force Sam Darnold and New York off the field. Over 40.5 bettors (53% of O/U handle) were winners, as were the small majority of Jets ML backers (5% of ML handle) and Jets spread backers (20% of spread handle).

Cardinals 33, Eagles 26: With two dynamic QBs at the helm, Philadelphia and Arizona engaged in a shootout early on, combining to score 46 first-half points. The Cardinals (-6, -275 ML) got out to a 16-0 lead thanks to a first-quarter safety and rushing TDs from Kyler Murray and Chase Edmonds.

But the Eagles (+230 ML) responded with three second-quarter TDs, with Jalen Hurts finding Greg Ward twice, a great early sign for Over 49.5 backers (82% of O/U handle). A low-scoring second half provided some sweat for Cardinals ML backers (59% of ML handle) and Cardinals spread backers (65% of spread handle), but Murray found DeAndre Hopkins for a 20-yard TD catch midway through the fourth quarter. The Eagles had three chances to make things interesting, but were unable to score each time.

Chiefs 32, Saints 29: A potential preview of Super Bowl LV lived up to the hype as a returning Drew Brees rallied from a 14-0 first-half deficit and the Saints (+130 ML) answered nearly every shot the Chiefs (-2.5, -148 ML) threw at them. Brees found Lil’Jordan Humphries in the end zone with just over three minutes remaining to hit Over 53 (90% of O/U handle) and pull the Saints within three points. Nervous moments for Chiefs ML backers (91% of ML handle) and Chiefs spread backers (88% of spread handle) followed, but Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offense picked up two first downs to ice the game.
