The Washington Football Team picks Dyami Brown No. 82 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft on Friday night. WFT adds a dynamic wide receiver with their third-round NFL Draft pick.
Washington Picks Dyami Brown No. 82 Overall In 2021 NFL Draft
The Washington Football Team selected wide receiver Dyami Brown with the 82nd pick in this year’s draft. This team now has a much better skills group with the additions of Ryan Fitzpatrick, Curtis Samuel, and now Brown.
Brown has solid size at 6-foot-1, 189 pounds with the ability to make big plays downfield. He’ll help take the top off opposing defenses which will open up this offense. Brown will line up on the perimeter with Terry McLaurin with Samuel moving to the slot, giving Washington a nice trio of receivers.
Washington has had a terrific draft class with Jamen Davis, Sam Cosmi, Benjamin St-Juste, and now Brown. This is a team on the rise with the ability to make some noise in the playoffs.
Dyami Brown 2021 Fantasy Football Outlook
Brown is a terrific target in the later rounds because he’s a deep threat who has a path to targets on a fantasy-friendly offense with Fitz at the helm. Washington will likely air it out more often this year. Brown has the potential to be a solid deep threat for this team, even as a rookie.
I’d consider Brown to be an upside WR5 in his rookie year. If McLaurin or Samuel were to miss time, Brown could become a solid option on the WR3/4 fringe. I really like him and Carolina’s Terrace Marshall as late-round receivers.
Dyami Brown Dynasty Fantasy Football Outlook
Suddenly, Washington has one of the most intriguing young receiving trios in the NFL. McLaurin, Samuel, and Brown are likely here for the long haul. Fitz helps bring out the best in his receivers, so Brown will have a chance at an immediate impact. Once Fitz retires (likely after this season), Washington presumably will target a franchise quarterback, which bodes well for Brown’s outlook. I’d make him a priority in dynasty leagues.

Washington Football Team Win Total
- Over 8 (-130)
- Under 8 (+110)
The Washington Football Team won 7 games last year with mediocre quarterback play. They now have veteran stability with Ryan Fitzpatrick with an improved offense and a nasty defense. I’m on the over.
Washington Football Team To Make Playoffs?
- Yes (+185)
- No (-225)
The WFT look like a terrific value to make the playoffs with a defense that projects to be a Top-5 unit in football.
Washington Football Team To Win NFC East Division Title (+300)
Fitz and Curtis Samuel should improve this offense enough to make the team a contender with how elite this defense is, so this looks like a solid value.
Washington Football Team To Win Super Bowl 56 (+6600)
Fitz is not good enough to lead this team to a Super Bowl, so I’d pass on this bet.
