To kick off Week 11 of the NFL season, the New England Patriots, who are tied for the best record in the league at 8-2, will host the New York Jets.
The Jets are just 2-7, but have won back-to-back games, beating the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns.
As for the Patriots, they’ve won seven in a row, and quarterback Drake Maye has elevated himself to near the top of the NFL MVP odds list.
Below, you’ll find my three favorite TNF prop bets, including one for Maye.
Best Thursday Night Football Prop Bets for Jets vs Patriots
All NFL odds used for these player props bets are current as of Thursday, Nov. 13, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Drake Maye: Under 27.5 Pass Attempts (-101)
Leading off my best bets for Thursday Night Football is the Under on pass attempts by one of the favorites to win the NFL MVP award.
Heading into Week 11, only two quarterbacks have hit this under the mark against the Jets, but if you look at Maye’s game logs, the Patriots seem to prefer an “efficiency over volume” passing approach. Maye has attempted 27 or fewer passes in five of 10 games.
The Patriots are favored by nearly two touchdowns against the Jets, so he shouldn’t have to throw very often, especially in the second half.
Take this Under as your NFL pick of the day.
TreVeyon Henderson: Anytime TD (-175)
For the second of my TNF best bets, I’m looking at an exciting rookie running back.
Over the last three weeks, Henderson has gotten 54.3% of the running back carries on the Patriots. Last week against the Buccaneers, that percentage went up to 73.7% and paid huge dividends. He had 15 touches, scored two touchdowns, and ran 14 times for 147 yards.
Now, he’ll take on a Jets defense that allows 138.2 rushing yards per game and recently allowed two rushing touchdowns to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Mason Taylor: Over 34.5 Receiving Yards (-109)
Despite Jets quarterback Justin Fields throwing for 54 yards or less in three of his last four games, I’m willing to take a chance on this Over as one of my best Thursday Night Football prop bets.
This season, Taylor ranks second on the team in target share at just over 18%, and wide receiver Garrett Wilson will miss another game with a knee injury he re-aggravated last week.
The Patriots also allow more than 60 yards per game to tight ends. The Jets will be trailing, will need to throw, and Taylor will be the beneficiary of that.
Back New York’s rookie tight end with our best sportsbook promotions for 2025.
