Titans-Bengals Players to Watch

Bengals QB Joe Burrow has had a rocky rookie campaign thus far but appears to be trending in the right direction.

While he’s only recorded one win and one tie, the No. 1 overall pick has thrown for over 300 yards in 5-of-7 games played this season. He’s also thrown for at least 8.0 yards per attempt in three of his past four games, including in each of his past two outings.

Burrow will look to exploit a Titans defense allowing the seventh-most passing yards per game (272.0) and the fifth most passing touchdowns (15) to enemy signal-callers.

Titans RB Derrick Henry is in line for a monster game this week against Cincinnati.

The Bengals defense is yielding the fifth-most rushing yards per game (133.7) this season to opposing running backs while surrendering six total touchdowns to the position overall.

Henry is the No.1 running back in carries (143), rushing yards (663), and total touchdowns (seven) through six games played in 2020.

Titans-Bengals Weather Report

The weather report at Paul Brown Stadium calls for a mostly cloudy afternoon at kickoff trending toward a clear fourth quarter and a 0% chance of precipitation.

The temperature for the game is forecast at 53 degrees Fahrenheit.

Titans-Bengals Betting Guide

BEST BET: Bengals +5.5 (-110)

Aside from their blowout win over the Bills a few weeks back, all of Tennessee’s games were decided by fewer than 6 points. There is a similar trend for the Bengals.

All seven of Cincinnati’s games were decided by fewer than 8 points. That 8-point margin came in their lone win over the Jaguars. Meanwhile, all of the Bengals’ losses were determined by fewer than five-point deficits.

The Bengals are 5-2 against the spread this season, while the Titans are 4-2.

CONSIDER: Over 53.5 (-110)

The total has surpassed the over in eight of the Bengals’ last 11 games while it has met the over in five out of Tennesee’s six games played this season.

The Bengals and their opponents have combined for more points than the 53.5-point total in 4-of-7 games this season, while the Titans and their foes have gone over the total in 4-of-6.

Both defenses are in the back half of the league in points allowed. Tennessee is surrendering the 16th-most points per game (25.5) while the Bengals are yielding the 11th-fewest (27.7).

PASS: Bengals (+200)

While both the Titans and Bengals play their games close, Tennessee is clearly the better team and they will win this game when it is all said and done.

The Bengals preset an enticing Moneyline at (+200). However, barring a significant regression from Ryan Tannehill, a quarterback playing at an MVP level who doesn’t make many mistakes, you’re blowing your money laying it on the Bengals to win outright.
