Even casual NFL fans know many major facts about the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers heading into Super Bowl 58.

The Chiefs aim to become the first team since the 2003-2004 New England Patriots to repeat as Super Bowl champions, and the 49ers are hoping to tie the Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers by winning their sixth Lombardi Trophy.

According to the American Gaming Association (AGA), a record 67.8 million adults (26 percent) are expected to bet on Super Bowl 58. Based on the AGA survey, that would be a 35 percent increase from last year.

The AGA highlighted that bettors are very close in choosing who will win Super Bowl 58. The Kansas City Chiefs are the slightly preferred pick, as 47 percent of bettors plan to wager on the Chiefs, and 44 percent intend to go with the San Francisco 49ers.

When Isiah Pacheco starts in Super Bowl 58, he will become the first running back since 1977-78 to start at running back in a Super Bowl in each of his first two seasons. Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett was the first ever to do so.
