Last Updated: Jan 9, 2021

Seattle Seahawks (6-2) at Los Angeles Rams (5-3)

The Seattle Seahawks visit the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. Here are our Seahawks Rams Bet Tips.

All odds and lines from PointsBet, current as of Thursday at 1 p.m. ET.

Seahawks Rams Bet Tips

Seahawks Rams Odds and Betting Lines

  • Against The Spread: Rams -2 (-105)/Seahawks +2 (-115)
  • Moneyline: Rams (-125)/Seahawks (+105)
  • Total: 54.5 — Over 54.5 (-110)/Under 54.5 (-110)
  • Implied Team Totals: Rams 28, Seahawks 26

After winning their first five games of the year, the Seahawks are 1-2 in their last three games, including a loss last week to the Bills. Seattle will look to get back into the win column facing a Rams club that is also 1-2 in their last three games and coming off of a loss in their own right.

This is a pivotal NFC West confrontation that could help decide the division when it is all said and done.

Seahawks Rams Players to Watch

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has been brilliant this season but is suddenly finding out that he cant do it on his own.

Sure, the Seahawks are 6-2, but after losing two of their past three games, not only is the rest of the league viewing the proverbial blueprint on how to beat Seattle, but they are also finding out that all they have is Wilson.

Outside of Seattle’s pass-catching weapons, they have question marks almost everywhere else on either side of the football — a backfield that always seems to be ailing, an inconsistent offensive line, and a defense that can’t pressure the quarterback or stop anyone.

If the Seahawks’ defense doesn’t get it together, we could be looking at the recreation of the 2018 Chiefs. You remember them right?

That high-octane offense led by league MVP Patrick Mahomes accompanied by a downright atrocious defense. You won’t win like that in January.

Wilson will look to right the ship on Sunday against the Rams, but unless he plays perfect football for the rest of the way, there is a chance Seattle might not even win the NFC West, nevermind a Suer Bowl.

Wilson has seven giveaways in his past three games. All seven of them have come in the pair of Seattle losses in that timespan.

Rams QB Jared Goff has good fortunes when he faces-off against the Seahawks.

In seven career games, Goff is 4-3 against Seattle. However, he is 4-1 in his past five games against them.

In four of those five games, Goff has thrown for at least 293 yards, including in each of his past four outings. He’s also thrown for at least 300 yards three times in that period.

While Goff has been on track yardage-wise, his TD/INT ratio has suffered. He’s thrown eight touchdowns and eight interceptions in his seven career outings against Seattle.

Goff will have to play one of his better games of the year to walk away from Week 10 with a win. Both teams need it.

Seahawks Rams Weather Report

The weather at SoFi Stadium does not matter because it is a dome.

The temperature is forecast for 74 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of kickoff.

Seahawks Rams Bet Tips

BEST BET: Over 54.5 (-110)

While the overall winner is difficult to project between the Seahawks and Rams, the total is not.

It is safe to say that both teams have explosive offenses that can score on demand. And while the Rams’ defense is far and beyond superior to Seattle’s they have their kinks.

Seattle is averaging the most PPG (34.2) in the NFL while allowing the third-most PPG (30.4).

The Rams are averaging the 12th-fewest PPG (24.1) but are surrendering the second-fewest PPG (19.0).

The Over is 4-1 in the past five games between the Seahawks and Rams.

The Over is 6-2 in Seattle’s last eight games.

CONSIDER: Seahawks Moneyline (+105)

While both teams are 1-2 in their past three games while coming off losses, I favor Seattle to squeak out a victory over the Rams on Sunday outright.

I like Los Angeles’ defense more, but the Seattle defense could begin to improve. They are entering their second game with both Jamal Adams and Carlos Dunlap on the field.

Both Adams and Dunlap were new additions to Seattle this year — the latter was just acquired at the trade deadline — and can both disrupt the enemy offense.

If the Seahawks defense can’t get it together here facing a Rams offense that could stumble when Jared Goff is pressured, then it could spell doom come playoff time.

While the Rams are 4-1 straight up against the Seahawks in their last five games, they have yet to face this Seattle offense, which has arguably been the most eruptive unit in the Russell Wilson era. They are hard to stop.

And if Goff contines to turn the football over, Wilson will be given one too many chances not to put this game away.

I will side with the better quarterback here and that is Wilson and the Seahawks.

PASS: Seahawks +2 (-115)

I am passing on the Seahawks getting the points.

If you are going to take the Seahawks in any way, you’re better off laying cash on the Moneyline with (+105) odds.

The Seahawks are 2-3 against the spread facing the Rams in the past five games.
