Saints Buccaneers Players to Watch

Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown will make his 2020 and his team debut on Sunday night.

Although the troubled wideout had interest from other clubs while lingering on the open market, Brown elected to sign with Tampa Bay and reunite with Tom Brady, one of the only players to publicly advocate for Brown while he was in his downward spiral.

If Chris Godwin misses his second straight game with an injured index finger, the former elite wideout will likely handle a significant role in a Buccaneers passing attack that had issues getting going in Week 1’s loss to the Saints.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara is one of the elite backs in the NFL. However, he doesn’t always show up against Tampa Bay.

While he did manage to score two touchdowns in the season opener against the Buccaneers, he only totaled 67 yards on the day. In his previous three games against Tampa, he was held out of the end zone altogether.

Kamara is currently on an uncharacteristic three-game scoring drought that he will look to end on Sunday night.

Maybe the potential return of wideout Michael Thomas, who hasn’t played since Week 1, could help.

Saints Buccaneers Weather Report

The weather report at Raymond James Stadium calls for an overcast night at the time of kickoff with an 11% chance of precipitation.

The temperature is forecast at 78 degrees Fahrenheit with 18 mph winds blowing in the direction of East-Northeast.

CONSIDER: Buccaneers -4.5 (-110)

This game should be close, but eventually, Tampa Bay will open it up, come out with a win and cover the 4.5 points.

The Buccaneers are 4-4 against the spread overall in 2020 but are 2-1 in their last three games.

While the Buccaneers are 3-10 ATS in their last 10 meetings with New Orleans and 0-4 in their last four games, those were Jameis Winston’s Bucs. It is a different ballgame with Tom Brady at the helm.
