Ravens 2021 Win Total Bet: Schedule, Changes, and Outlook
The Baltimore Ravens have recorded double-digit wins in each of the last three seasons for the first time since 2010-13. After winning back-to-back AFC North titles in 2018 and 2019, the Ravens went 11-5 and finished second behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2020 before being eliminated in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Ravens will face eight teams with double-digit wins in 2021.
The Ravens had the No. 1 rushing offense in the NFL, averaging 5.5 yards per carry and 191.9 yards on the ground per game. Baltimore also punched in the third-most rushing touchdowns with 24.
The Ravens also signed a new weapon in the passing game for Lamar Jackson as well in Sammy Watkins, who will join Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin, and tight end Mark Andrews as his top targets. Not only that, but they selected promising young wide receivers Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace in this year’s NFL Draft to add to the mix.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw 2,754 yards and had a 26-9 touchdown to interception ratio to go along with a 64.4% completion percentage in 15 games last year. Jackson is tied for the fifth-best odds to win his second MVP trophy at +1400, per BetMGM.
As for the defense, Wink Martindale’s unit ranked seventh in the NFL, allowing just 329.8 total yards of offense per game. Despite losing Pro Bowl edge rusher Matthew Judon, the Ravens’ front still features fellow Pro Bowler Calais Campbell, Derek Wolfe, and Brandon Williams. They also went out and spent the No. 31 overall pick on Penn State edge rusher Odafe Oweh.
At the next level, they have promising second-year linebacker Patrick Queen, who led the team with 106 tackles and nine tackles for a loss. Queen will be paired with Jaylon Ferguson, Tyus Bowser, and L.J. Fort. And in the secondary, the Ravens are loaded with cornerback trio Marcus Peters, Marlon Humphrey, and Jimmy Smith. At safety, Chuck Clark is coming off a strong season, as is free-safety DeShon Elliot.
Ravens 2021 Win Total Bet Pick
Ravens to Win Over 11 Games In 2021-2022 NFL Season (-110)
John Harbaugh’s Ravens have been consistent playoff contenders throughout his 14-year tenure as head coach. They are a squad built off their running game and strong brick wall defense. As long as they avoid the injury bug in 2021, they should be able to take advantage of a weaker AFC North division.
According to BetMGM, the Ravens currently stand at -110 odds to win over 11 games, which you should hammer, given they are fresh off an 11-win season and look to be stronger on paper coming into the season.
BetMGM also likes the Ravens to capture the division title at +115 odds, which seems like a no-brainer with the Steelers on the decline and the Bengals in rebuild mode.
