Rice is averaging 58.6 receiving yards per game, just 0.1 more than this week’s receiving prop. However, it’s important to remember how much more he’s playing and how many more targets he’s earning in recent weeks compared to the first half of the season.

It’s certainly worth a quarter of a unit to play these really favorable odds (+525). We know the Ravens want to get out to an early lead, and if that’s the case here, that will make the Chiefs take more chances in the passing game.
The ol’ gunslinging days of Patrick Mahomes don’t really exist anymore as defenses have shifted to force him to execute and play underneath by maintaining deep leverage in coverage. So Baltimore won’t allow Rice to get over the top for any big 30-plus-yard receptions, but they will live with him and his pass-catching teammates to work underneath.
PlayerProfiler has Rice as the third-best receiver in yards after catch (6.4 YAC per target). Volume is important here, so this is more of a game-script bet.
If you believe the Chiefs will be playing from behind, Rice earning at least a dozen targets gives him a real shot at this yardage milestone.
