Rams-Buccaneers Players to Watch

LAR WR Cooper Kupp leads the Rams in targets (78), receptions (53) and receiving yards (577). The team lead in receiving TDs goes to Robert Woods. And I expect both to have quality games as the Bucs D has allowed 9 receiving TDs and an average of 152.1 yards per game to opposing WRs.

With that being the case, Jared Goff could have a nice game as well. Overall, the Bucs D has given up 17 passing TDs, including at least two six times.

After his worst game of the season in Week 9, TB QB Tom Brady bounced back in a big way in Week 10 having arguably his best game of 2020. He went 28-for-39 for 341 yards and 4 total TDs (1 rushing). However, the Rams have one of the best defenses in the league, holding opposing QBs without a passing TD five times in nine games. It could be an up-and-down game for Brady, depending on how much pressure Aaron Donald and the Rams D can get on him.

Another key to this game should be Antonio Brown, who led the Bucs in receptions (7) in his second game with the team. He had 8 targets, behind only Mike Evans‘ 11 on the afternoon. With Brady spreading the ball around to his top three targets, Brown, Evans and Chris Godwin combined for 238 receiving yards last week.

The Rams secondary ranks top-5 overall and against the pass, and Jalen Ramsey should shadow Evans tightly. This will pit strength versus strength under the lights on Monday Night Football.

Rams-Buccaneers Weather Report

The weather report at Raymond James Stadium calls for mainly clear skies and a low temperature of 63 degrees Fahrenheit. There’s also a 7% chance of precipitation, but nothing that should affect the play on the field.

Rams-Buccaneers Bet Tips

BEST BET: Buccaneers -4 (-110)

The right number to take the Bucs at is -3, but that ship has sailed. I’m willing to bank on Brady and his boys to cover the extra point here as they’ve covered in half of their games as a favorite this season (4-4). The Bucs also have a 3-1 record at home with the victories coming by an average of more than two TDs.

CONSIDER: Under 48.5 (-115)

Rams games have only hit the over twice in nine games, an astonishing 77.8% hit on the Under. That’s enough for me to consider this play, even with the -115 odds.

PASS: Buccaneers (-216)

Even though the Bucs are likely to win this game, the Rams are a live dog on Monday night. I wouldn’t risk more than 2-to-1 odds when an upset could be in the cards to end Week 11.
