NFL Week 12 Prop Bets | Best NFL Prop Predictions & Picks Today

Last Updated: Nov 29, 2021

The more games we play, the less we know. And I like it that way.

It has been a delightfully weird year in the NFL. Greatness seems temporary, which makes for chaotic Sundays. As we enter Week 12, it feels like just about every team—excluding the true bottom dwellers—are still in the mix.

This kind of season makes for eventful prop betting. Although last week, I finished under .500 for the first time in more than a month. It was a nice run, and now, it’s time to start another.

I absolutely adore this slate of games. Potential MVPs will clash in the Buccaneers-Colts game, while the Patriots could assert themselves as the dominant team in the AFC with a dominant win over Tennessee.

And yes, Seattle-Washington could be a dreadful Monday evening tussle that I am absolutely here for.

NFL Week 12 Best Prop Bets

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots

Tennessee, what the heck was that?

In fact, we probably need a stronger word. You are creative enough to fill in the blanks.

In any event, the Titans lost outright to the Texans and mustered up only 13 points. One of the key sources, of course, was Ryan Tannehill’s four interceptions. That is not something we’re accustomed to seeing the QB do.

The Patriots, however, are experiencing different emotions this week. After dishing out a rare shutout over the Falcons Thursday night, New England looks like a real force.

Throw in the Titans loss, Buffalo’s issues, and the rest of the NFL looking incredibly beatable, and Bill Belichick might just be in line to conquer the sport again.

I like offense in this game. Well, let me rephrase. I like a bit more of it than we saw last week and more than some might expect. It also feels like the Patriots’ surge is very real, and we might as well get used to it.

New England Patriots (-3.5) First Half (-105) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

The Titans will play better than last week, although I’m not sure it will matter. The Patriots are finding a rhythm, and that is bad news for everyone else.

Under 22.5 First Half Points (-105) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

This feels like a game that could mimic, at least to a degree, the one New England just played against Atlanta. The defense is likely to factor throughout.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts

After torching the Buffalo defense for five touchdowns last week, what will Jonathan Taylor do for an encore this weekend in a Colts vs Buccaneers prop? (Image: USA TODAY Sports)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Indianapolis Colts

Are we gearing up for the two favorites to win the MVP? As of right now, it certainly feels like it.

As a proud Jonathan Taylor fantasy owner, an admirer of his since his days at Wisconsin, and a general appreciator of running backs as a whole, I love what Taylor is doing. The Colts’ offensive line is creating huge running lanes, and Taylor is taking full advantage of it.

Taylor’s five-touchdown performance against the Bills was clinical. And after losing four of its first five games, Indy has now won five of six. And yes, a favorable schedule certainly hasn’t hurt.

Tom Brady, meanwhile, bounced back nicely after a rough outing, as the Bucs made quick work of the New York Giants. Brady was solid, Rob Gronkowski returned and made an impact, and the defense allowed only 10 points.

But I doubt defense will be a theme in this game. Well, maybe some. Just not a ton of it.

Indianapolis Colts First to Score (-105) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

I did not fare well on my first-to-score bets last week, although that won’t deter me from digging in again. The Colts are getting off to hot starts, and they strike first here.

Both Teams to Score 20+ Points (-165) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

I really like this bet. It’s not the best value, although I think both teams should be busy when it comes to scoring.

Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers

The Vikings finally won a game they’ve gotten used to losing, and that feels significant.

It’s been a year of almost for Minnesota, and for a while that looked like the case again against Green Bay. Then Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook delivered on a drive that they had to, leading the Vikings to a 34-31 win. Before then, it was Justin Jefferson just torching the secondary.

The defense wasn’t great, allowing Aaron Rodgers to throw for 385 yards on a bum toe. And I am curious to see if that carries over here.

If it does, San Francisco could be in business. The 49ers reached .500 with a dominant win over the Jaguars. I’m not sure how much that tells us, but a win is a win.

Jimmy Garoppolo has played incredibly well and been efficient over the past month, and Deebo Samuel is starting to look like a massive star.

I really love the skill position talent in this game, and I expect there to be plenty of fireworks along the way.

Over 24 First Half Points (-110) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

The skill position is just too good, and I think the wideouts put on a show. This has a chance to be one of the most watchable games all weekend.

Minnesota Vikings Over 22.5 Total Points (-120) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

It might be my favorite bet all weekend. I think Minnesota has a good chance to hit 30, and I’ll ride the wave from the first bet. Lots of points.

Seattle Seahawks at Washington Football Team

I’m going to level with you first. As a Jets fan, I am thrilled about what is transpiring with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Jets own Seattle’s first-round pick next season, and I never imagined that pick would be as high as it currently sits. But with the Seahawks at 3-7, here we are.

In a normal Seattle year, this game would feel lopsided in nature. But given how inept the offense has looked in recent weeks, you can’t be so sure.

Russell Wilson says his repaired finger is fine as trade rumors start to kick up again. Pete Carroll, the rock of this organization, is walking off press conferences only to come back. And the offense has scored 13 combined points in the past two games.

Woof.

I can safely say that this will not be the sexiest Monday Night Football game we get this season, although I am curious what we see from Washington. Taylor Heinicke threw three touchdowns in WFT’s win over Carolina, and Terry McLaurin was once again a menace.

Once again, Seattle might have its hands full on the road.

Seattle Seahawks Under 23.5 Total Points (-120) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

The issues that are hurting Seattle’s offense likely won’t be fixed in a week. And although the absence of Chase Young hurts Washington, this unit will still make life difficult.

Washington Football Team Over 10.5 First Half Total Points (-105) at Betway

Wager: 1 Unit

The last few weeks, the offense has come to life. While I won’t expect a massive deluge of points, WFT does just enough.
