Packers vs Ravens Predictions Week 15 | NFL Pick of the Day

Last Updated: Dec 19, 2021

The Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens possess two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, making this one of the more intriguing matchups on the Week 15 slate (assuming both can play).

Aaron Rodgers has been banged up lately but just led the Packers to yet another win over the Chicago Bears, improving their record to 10-3 on the season.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson suffered an ankle sprain during Baltimore’s loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 14, putting his status for Sunday’s game in doubt. While the Ravens still lead the NFC North, they’ve slipped to 8-5 after losing back-to-back games.

Who will win this duel between the two most recent NFL MVPs? Let’s dive in with our Packers vs Ravens predictions and best bets to determine which team will emerge victorious in our NFL pick of the day series.

Please note that all NFL Week 15 odds and lines are current as of 6 p.m. ET on Friday, December 17.

Packers vs Ravens Prediction

The Packers are one of three 10-3 teams fighting for the top seed in the NFC along with the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. All have looked like legitimate Super Bowl contenders this year and are the top three teams in our latest NFL power rankings.

The Ravens, on the other hand, have been plagued by injuries all season. Largely thanks to the stellar play of Jackson, they’re still on top of their division in mid-December.

While John Harbaugh has done his best to squeeze the most out of his depleted roster, there’s only so much he can do. Ditto Jackson, who’s struggled in recent weeks while the Ravens have lost four of their last seven.

Even if Jackson plays, Baltimore still doesn’t have enough talent to win this game. Their defense is a shell of its former self without Marcus Peters, Marlon Humphrey, and others, making the Ravens’ secondary incredibly vulnerable against Rodgers and co.

With the Packers streaking towards the playoffs and the Ravens limping towards the finish line, look for Green Bay to notch a road win here.

Prediction: Packers 28, Ravens 20

Packers vs Ravens Best Bets

Best Bet: Packers -6.5 (-110) at Caesars

Wager: 1 Unit

Even though this game is in Baltimore, I think the spread on our NFL gameday odds is just right.

Green Bay’s the healthier team and has played better lately. Rodgers should also be able to pick apart Baltimore’s diminished secondary, while Jackson (if he plays) may struggle against a stout Packers defense.

The Ravens just don’t have the pieces at this stage in the season to hang with a Super Bowl favorite like Green Bay, even at home.

Best Bet: Over 43.5 Total Points (-110) at Caesars

Wager: 1 Unit

Both offenses are pretty explosive, as Rodgers can carve up teams with his arm while Jackson can do so with his legs. I expect both teams to score a good amount of points here, especially with Baltimore’s defense in tatters.

If Jackson doesn’t play that’s a different story, but as long as he suits up the Over should hit for our NFL bet of the day.
