After an up-and-down regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs are back in the AFC Championship Game. One player who helped them reach this point is Byron Pringle, who’s emerged as a legitimate scoring threat of late.
The third-year wideout had five receiving touchdowns over the course of the regular season but already has three in the playoffs, two of which came in the Wild Card Round against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He’s obviously no Tyreek Hill or Travis Kelce, but we should expect the Cincinnati Bengals to take him seriously nonetheless.
Let’s get into our top player prop selections for Pringle ahead of the AFC Conference Championship.

Byron Pringle AFC Championship Prop Bets
Byron Pringle Anytime TD (+210) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
Even though Pringle only scored five touchdowns during the regular season, the fact that he’s scored three in the playoffs suggests that he’s become a favorite of Patrick Mahomes in recent weeks.
On top of that, the total in Bengals vs Chiefs is hovering in the mid-50s for what is widely expected to be a high-scoring game. Kelce and Hill will almost certainly get theirs, which makes it seem more likely that Pringle will score as well — especially if it’s a shootout.
I normally don’t bet a full unit on touchdown scorer props, but I’m riding the hot hand and backing Pringle with my NFL bet of the day.

Longest Reception OVER 17.5 Yards (-115) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
This pick is all about value. Even though Pringle posted the highest average yards per reception for Kansas City during the regular season, his longest reception prop is the second-lowest available between the two teams.

Of course, it’s important to consider sample size here. Pringle’s 42 regular-season receptions rank fifth on the team, and his longest reception clocked in at 40 yards.
Considering Pringle’s speed and Cincinnati’s weaker secondary, however, this looks like a solid bet.

OVER 37.5 Receiving Yards (-110) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
Considering how this game is projected to play out, along with the fact that we’re rolling with the Over on Pringle’s longest reception prop, we’re going to take the Over on his receiving yards prop as well.
Pringle recorded 38 yards or more in six of his 17 games this season and had two games with 37 yards as well. He also had a 35-yard outing against the Bengals, which suggests that he should at least be able to get close to hitting that mark again this weekend.
Something else that bodes well for us here; Pringle has seen seven or more targets in four of his last five games. That increased usage, should it continue into this matchup, should only help his chances.
