NBA Bets 3/28/22: Orlando Magic @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Best Bet: OVER 215.5 Total Points (-110) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
The Cleveland Cavaliers are attempting to finish the season strong despite losing three consecutive games. If the season were to end today, the Cavaliers would be the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference, and they would have to take part in the play-in tournament.
On Monday, Cleveland will host the Orlando Magic, who don’t have a lot to play for at this point of the season, besides their pride. While the Cavaliers are heavy favorites over the Magic on Monday, I do like taking the Over in this contest.
Cleveland has allowed eight of their last 10 opponents to score 109+ points, so even with Jalen Suggs (ankle) sidelined for Orlando, I’m confident they can put up points.
I’m also confident that Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Caris LeVert, and Kevin Love have no issues scoring on the Magic’s mediocre defense that allows 111.9 points per game (11th most in the NBA).
The Cavaliers have hit the Over in six of their last seven games and five of their last six home games. Meanwhile, the Magic have reached the Over in five of their last seven games.
Also, Cleveland is still without their defensive stalwart in Jarrett Allen (finger), and Wendell Carter Jr. is expected to return on Monday, which should help us reach the Over in this one for our NBA bet of the day.

NBA Bets 3/28/22: Sacramento Kings @ Miami Heat
Best Bet: OVER 217.5 Total Points (-110) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
I tend to avoid double-digit spreads in the NBA, even though I believe the Miami Heat could defeat the Sacramento Kings with ease on Monday.
The Kings are without De’Aaron Fox (hand) and Domantas Sabonis (knee) while the Heat should have their trio of Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and Bam Adebayo available.
Miami has lost four straight, including losses to the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors, who were without Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Otto Porter Jr. So instead of taking the spread, the Over is worth considering in this matchup.

With Davion Mitchell running the point for the Kings, they’ve been playing at a fast pace, and they’ve been involved in some high-scoring games as of late.
In Sacramento’s last 10 games, eight of them have exceeded the total of 217.5 points that is set for Monday’s matchup with Miami.
On top of that, the Kings have hit the Over in four of their last five games. Lastly, when these two teams meet, they’ve achieved the Over in 15 of their last 20 matchups.

NBA Bets 3/28/22: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Portland Trail Blazers
Best Bet: Thunder -2.5 (-110) at BetMGM
Wager: 1 Unit
We’ve gotten to the point of the season where teams that aren’t in the playoffs are beginning to rest players in favor of landing a better draft pick.
Monday, we have a clash between two teams that have their sights set on this year’s draft when the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Thunder have been competitive all season, but they’ll be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle), Darius Bazley (knee), and Kenrich Williams (knee) on Monday night.
Josh Giddey (hip), Lu Dort, (shoulder), and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (foot) are all still out as well, so Oklahoma City is definitely shorthanded.
Even with that being the case, I believe the Thunder can defeat the Trail Blazers right now. Portland has shut down Damian Lillard for the rest of the season with an abdominal injury.
Josh Hart (knee), Justise Winslow (Achilles), and Trendon Watford (leg) have been ruled out for Monday’s showdown.
Given the fact that the Thunder are a much better-coached squad, I’ll side with them to cover the spread. Oklahoma has covered the spread in each of their last six games and they’ve recorded a 5-2 record against the spread in their last seven meetings with Portland.
