The Oklahoma City Thunder will try to finish off the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals with a 3-2 series lead. Thursday’s game at Frost Bank Center will tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET, live on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
The Thunder took care of business at home in Game 5, knocking off the Spurs 127-114. They got some solid contributions from role players like Jared McCain (20 points) and Alex Caruso (22 points) in that victory.
In this article, we’ll dive into my NBA best bets for Thunder vs Spurs Game 6.

Thunder vs Spurs Game 6 Predictions
Score Prediction: Spurs 107, Thunder 98
I’m expecting the Spurs to bounce back in a big way at home as they face elimination.
When they lost two in a row earlier in this series, they responded well with a 19-point win back in Game 4.
This is a bet on Victor Wembanyama, who is the best player in the world right now. Expect Wemby to carry his team to a much-needed win to stave off elimination.
Thunder vs Spurs Game 6 Best Bets
Spurs -3.5 (-110) vs Thunder
Before this series started, I had the Spurs pulling off the upset, so I’m not going to back down now.
We saw San Antonio lock down defensively in a Game 4 home win, holding Oklahoma City to just 82 points.
They’ve done a good job slowing down Shai Gilgeous-Alexander lately, as he’s shot 40% from the field or worse in three consecutive games. What the Spurs have to do is make sure they don’t let one of the Thunder’s role players, like McCain or Caruso, have a big game. That’s what sunk them in Game 5.
We’re getting a reasonable number at -3.5 on this spread, as the Spurs have shown they can beat the Thunder convincingly, as highlighted by a 19-point win in Game 4. Ride with the Spurs in our NBA pick of the day.
Thunder @ Spurs: Under 219.5 Points (-112)
I’m backing Game 6 to go under the total of 219.5 points on Thursday night.
Even though this has been a high-scoring series, with four of five games combining for 230+ points, this feels like a spot where the Spurs absolutely lock in defensively.

We saw that happen in Game 4, when they held the Thunder to only 83 points. That game finished with 185 points, staying comfortably below the total.
There’s a good chance that we see something similar here, especially with how the Spurs have been able to slow down SGA, making him more of an inefficient scorer. It wouldn’t surprise me to see this game easily go under for the second straight Spurs’ home game.
