Spurs vs Thunder Game 7 Predictions
Score Prediction: Spurs 113, Thunder 110
Before the playoffs started, I had the Spurs as my NBA champions, so I’m not going to back off that take now.
Wembanyama is on a mission, asserting himself as the best player in the world. This is a legacy game for him, and I think he’s going to come through.
We’ve seen the Spurs have success against the Thunder all year, winning the regular-season series and beating them in the NBA Cup. I’ll say they get it done on the road in Game 7.
This should be a close game that comes down to the wire.
Spurs vs Thunder Game 7 Best Bets
Spurs +3.5 (-108) @ Thunder
The road team has one win each in this series, so it’s not crazy to think that the Spurs win this one outright. We saw San Antonio get it done in a 122-115 double-overtime victory back in Game 1.
That was a game where Wembanyama exploded for 41 points and 24 rebounds. This is the kind of performance that the Spurs will need from their superstar to get it done. I’m betting that he’ll answer the call here.
San Antonio has continued to do a great job slowing down Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The back-to-back MVP has shot 40% from the field or worse in four consecutive games. That includes a 6-for-18 performance in Game 6 and a 7-for-19 shooting night in Game 5.
If Shai continues to struggle from the field, the Spurs can win this one outright. This is going to be a close game that could come down to the last shot, so give me the Spurs +3.5 in our NBA pick of the day.
Spurs @ Thunder: Over 212.5 Points (-110)
We’re getting a lower number than usual for this series here at 212.5. For context, the total has been 217.5 points or higher in five of six games in this Western Conference Finals.
I get it, it’s Game 7. You’re likely going to see these two elite defenses lock in. But considering the score lines we’ve seen in this series, it feels like the market is overcorrecting based on the fact that this is Game 7.

We’ve seen combined scores of 237, 235, 231, 185, 241, and 209. While I don’t think it’ll sail over the number, 212.5 just feels too low to me.
Ride with the over in this Game 7.
