The San Antonio Spurs will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder in a pivotal Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals with the series tied 2-2. Tuesday’s game at Paycom Center will tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET, live on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
The Spurs are coming off an impressive home victory in Game 4, blowing out the Thunder 103-82 behind an incredible defensive effort. They’ll look to take control of this series with a road win in Game 5.
Without further ado, let’s dive into my NBA best bets for Spurs vs Thunder Game 5.

Spurs vs Thunder Game 5 Predictions
Score Prediction: Spurs 114, Thunder 109
Victor Wembanyama continues to be a man on a mission in this series, coming off another dominant effort in Game 4, where he dropped 33 points while shooting 50% from the field.
His ability to make a major impact on both sides of the floor has been incredible to watch.
This feels like a situation where a generational player is making a statement, asserting himself as the clear-cut best in the world.
The Spurs have proven that they can hang with the Thunder all year. They look like live dogs in this spot.
Spurs vs Thunder Game 5 Best Bets
Spurs +4.5 (-105) @ Thunder
I like taking the Spurs plus the points here.
The Thunder are likely to be without Jalen Williams (hamstring) for this game, which would be a significant loss. They need all hands on deck against this elite Spurs defense.
While the defending champions are a dominant squad, I like getting 4.5 points with San Antonio, especially since we only have to pay a -105 price instead of the usual -110.
Not only have the Spurs shown they can beat the Thunder in this series, but this has carried over from the regular season.
Ride with the visitors to cover the spread in our NBA pick of the day. It wouldn’t surprise me if they won outright here.
Spurs @ Thunder: Over 216.5 Points (-110)
I’ve mentioned how good the Spurs have been defensively throughout this series, especially in Game 4.
However, when you look at the scorelines of this series, 216.5 feels like a low number. These teams have gone over 216.5 points in three of four matchups so far.

Not only that, but they’ve flown past this number, with Game 1 (237 points), Game 2 (235 points), and Game 3 (231 points) being much more high-scoring than this projection.
I understand we could see these teams play at a slow pace in such an important game, since the series is tied 2-2, but this feels like an overcorrection given what’s happened so far.
