There’s only one game on the NBA slate tonight, and that’s the Phoenix Suns hosting the Los Angeles Clippers.
For those excited to see some of the league’s stars hit the court, think again: James Harden and Kawhi Leonard have been ruled out for this game. Leonard is dealing with an ankle injury, and Harden is dealing with a personal matter.
On the Suns’ side, Dillon Brooks is out with a groin injury, and Jalen Green is probable as he deals with a hamstring issue.
With all that said, continue reading below to see my Clippers vs Suns predictions.
Clippers vs Suns Predictions
All NBA odds used for these Clippers vs Suns best bets are current as of Thursday, Nov. 6, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Suns -2.5 (-112) vs Clippers
To kick things off, I’m taking the Suns -2.5 at home.
The Suns are 4-0 against the spread at home this season, including a 2-0 mark as the home favorite. They may be without Brooks in this game, but the Clippers will be without two of their best players in Leonard and Harden.
The Clippers have been scoring a bit more lately, but they still rank 27th in the NBA in points per game at 111.7. They also allow teams to shoot 39.4% from 3-point range (fourth-highest).
The Suns, who average 42.5 3-point attempts per game, should be able to capitalize, especially without Harden and Leonard on the other side.
Back Phoenix to win and cover as one of your NBA best bets today.
Devin Booker: Over 27.5 Points (-121) vs Clippers
Booker is averaging 31 points per game for the Suns, connecting on 10.3 field goals off of 19.9 attempts per outing. He’s shooting 43.1% from 3-point range and 55.6% on 2-point shots.
As mentioned, the Clippers are allowing teams to shoot 39.4% from 3-point range.
I expect Booker to have the ball in his hand early and often, and with how tight this spread is despite Leonard and Harden being out, I don’t expect Booker to be on the sidelines much, making this one of my favorite Clippers vs Suns prop bets.
Mark Williams: Under 9.5 Rebounds (-132) vs Clippers
Williams is averaging 10 rebounds per game, including 6.4 defensive and 3.6 offensive.
So far this season, the Clippers are allowing opponents to rebound just 46.3 shots per game, which is tied for the least in the league. This average includes 29.3 defensive rebounds, the fifth-fewest in the NBA.
Williams will often need to contend with Clippers center Ivica Zubac, a good defender down low who also averages nearly 10 boards per game.
Williams averages 10 boards per game and is taking on the team that is tied for allowing the fewest. Back the Under with our best sports betting promotions for 2025.
