The Dodgers have the second-best record in MLB at 19-8, while the Pirates are solidly below .500 at 12-16. Los Angeles will also have Tony Gonsolin on the mound, who’s been spectacular with a 1.64 ERA over his first five starts. The same cannot be said of Pittsburgh starter Bryse Wilson, who checks in with a career 5.31 ERA and 5.29 FIP.

The Brewers and Reds present an even more lopsided matchup, as Milwaukee leads the NL Central at 19-11 while Cincinnati is 12.5 games behind them at 6-23. The Brewers rank third in MLB in total runs scored and are in a prime spot to tee off on rookie Hunter Greene, who’s allowed an MLB-high 10 home runs and owns an 8.71 ERA this year.
The Blue Jays and Yankees have two of the most talented lineups in baseball, so this is a great spot to take the Over. Luis Severino has been a bit uneven in his return from injury for New York, while Toronto lefty Yusei Kikuchi has been homer-prone throughout his career and could struggle against the Yankees’ powerful offense.
The Braves will host the Red Sox, who are floundering at 10-19. Boston’s offense is nowhere to be found and should have another quiet night against Kyle Wright, who has a sparkling 1.74 ERA and 2.08 FIP over his first five outings.
With four great picks here, this is our MLB parlay bet of the day.
MLB Longshot Parlay Bet Today
Today’s Longshot Parlay (+1120)
- Los Angeles Dodgers -2.5 (+105)
- Milwaukee Brewers OVER 5.5 Runs (+135)
- Texas Rangers Moneyline (-145)
- San Francisco Giants Moneyline (-200)
WAGER: 1 Unit
As mentioned above, the Dodgers are much better than the Pirates. While Los Angeles lost last night, look for them to bounce back and win this one with ease.
The Brewers should also win handily against the lowly Reds, especially if their offense feasts on Greene. Cincinnati’s 6.55 ERA is the worst in MLB by a lot, so Milwaukee should have plenty of chances to score.
The Rangers have played better than their 11-16 record indicates, as their -3 run differential suggests they’re basically a .500 team. The Royals, on the other hand, have a -44 run differential and are slightly worse than their 9-17 record. Back Texas at home with Martin Perez and his 2.25 ERA on the bump.
The final game on tonight’s slate is an NL West showdown between the Giants and Rockies in San Francisco. The Giants have won three straight while the Rockies have lost three of their last four. Colorado is also 5-8 away from Coors Field, so take the home team here to round out our parlay.
