The 2022 MLB season continues to roll along as we’re already approaching the end of April. It’s been interesting to watch some teams solidify themselves as contenders while other teams are proving to be punching bags for the rest of the league.
When betting on baseball — or any sport — it’s wise to use most of your bankroll on straights. That being said, it’s always fun to throw a couple dollars on parlays that make each slate of games even more exhilarating.
Ahead of a full schedule for MLB on Tuesday, I’ll be highlighting my best MLB parlay picks today.
All MLB gameday odds are current as of Tuesday, April 26, at 9 a.m. ET from BetMGM Sportsbook.

The Brewers will face the Pirates on Tuesday, a team they’ve beaten in their last five meetings — including a three-game sweep last week.
Besides Milwaukee’s recent success against Pittsburgh, the Brewers will also have Brandon Woodruff on the mound, who’s gone 2-1 in his first three starts. Meanwhile, the Pirates will have Mitch Keller (0-3, 6.23 ERA) on the bump.

The Padres are in a similar boat against the Reds, who they swept last week during the midst of Cincinnati’s 11-game losing streak. In addition to winning five of its last seven games overall, San Diego is also 9-1 in its last 10 games against Cincinnati. Joe Musgrove (2-0, 1.89 ERA) also has a massive advantage over Reiver Sanmartin (0-2, 7.11 ERA) in this matchup.
It’s no secret that the Blue Jays can hit the cover off of the ball. They’ve scored at least six runs in each of their last two games and get another chance to tee off on Nick Pivetta (0-3, 10.03 ERA) after tagging him for five runs in four innings in his most recent start.
Max Fried has been excellent over his last two outings, yielding just two earned runs combined in 12 1/3 innings. The same cannot be said about his opponent Marcus Stroman, who’s been lit up for 12 earned runs on 14 hits in 8 1/3 innings over his last pair of starts.
With four great picks here, this is our MLB parlay bet of the day.
MLB Longshot Parlay Bet Today
Today’s Longshot Parlay (+1035)
- Chicago White Sox Moneyline (-150)
- Detroit Tigers & Minnesota Twins OVER 7 Total Runs (-120)
- Atlanta Braves OVER 4.5 Runs (+110)
- Miami Marlins Moneyline (-130)
WAGER: 0.5 Units
The Royals and White Sox have a pair of mediocre southpaws starting today in Daniel Lynch and Dallas Keuchel. With no clear advantage there, I’m trusting the reigning AL Central champs to come out on top.
Similarly, I’m targeting the Over in another weak pitching matchup between Detroit’s Eduardo Rodriguez and Minnesota’s Chris Paddack. Neither hurler has started the year well for his new team, making the Over a likely outcome.
We’ve already covered Stroman’s struggles above, which should help the defending World Series champs hit the Over on their run total, especially given their success against righties this year.
Lastly, I like the Marlins to continue their winning streak after beating the Braves in back-to-back games. They have one of the game’s better pitchers on the mound in Sandy Alcantara and are facing a Nationals squad that has lost five in a row.
