May 26 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks at New York Knicks
Over 25.5 Points (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
Young hit the game-winning shot and finished with 32 points in an electrifying Game 1 performance, showing that the playoffs weren’t too much for him to handle. He wasn’t afraid to look for his shot, attempting 23 field goals and 9 free throws in the contest. Given his 33.0 percent usage rate during the regular season (6th in the NBA), look for him to have another strong scoring night in Game 2.
Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Washington Wizards
Over 7.5 Assists (-140)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.71 units)
The bad news is that Simmons only scored 6 points on 3-for-9 shooting from the field in Game 1. The good news is that he still contributed elsewhere, racking up 15 rebounds and 15 assists. Given that Washington played at the NBA’s fastest pace during the regular season and that Simmons has plenty of potent scoring options around him, he could blow past the over again in Game 2.
Mike Conley Jr., Utah Jazz vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Over 6.5 Assists (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
With Donovan Mitchell (ankle) out for Game 1, Conley stepped up to provide 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 11 assists across 33 minutes. Mitchell will be back for Game 2, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing for Conley since he’ll now have another excellent scorer to pass to. Not only did he dish out plenty of assists in Game 1, but he also had at least 7 dimes both times he faced Memphis during the regular season as well.
