Don’t let Tucker’s .213 batting average frighten you; he’s been unlucky with a .200 BABIP despite a 51.0 percent hard-hit rate. He’s started to turn things around already, going 7-for-13 with 5 extra-base hits over his last four games. This could be a favorable spot for him to stay hot against Mike Foltynewicz, who’s been torched by left-handed hitters this year to the tune of a .313/.375/.688 batting line.
Jesse Winker, Cincinnati Reds @ Colorado Rockies

Winker’s been one of the best hitters in baseball this year, pacing the National League in batting average (.375), slugging percentage (.670), and OPS (1.101). He’s also shown plenty of power, smacking 18 extra-base hits across 28 games. Look for Winker to take advantage of a favorable matchup at Coors Field against Chi Chi Gonzalez, who’s allowed lefties to bat .291/.382/.430 off him throughout his career.
Garrett Richards, Boston Red Sox vs. Oakland Athletics
Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-125)

Richards has never been an overwhelming source for strikeouts given his career 20.8 percent strikeout rate. He’s continued that trend this season, recording 5 or fewer strikeouts in five of his seven starts en route to a 21.7 percent strikeout rate. He also hasn’t been pitching deep into games, logging five or fewer innings pitched in all but two of his outings, which doesn’t exactly help his chances of racking up strikeouts against Oakland’s patient lineup.
