March 31 NBA DFS Picks

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points
- Steal= +3 points
- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Luka Doncic, PG, Dallas Mavericks: Less Than 49.5 Fantasy Points
This benchmark is naturally very much within Doncic’s range of outcomes, and in fact, he’s eclipsed this total in exactly half of his 40 games. That includes a tally of 55.0 versus these same Celtics on Feb. 23, although Kristaps Porzingis did not play in that contest for Dallas.
Boston hasn’t typically been overly generous to point guards, either, as they’re allowing the fifth-lowest offensive efficiency (24.5 percent) to ones, along with the eighth-fewest MKF points per game (45.5) to the position as well. Doncic has scored under 49.5 MKF points in three straight and five of the last eight overall, and he’s averaging fewer points, rebounds, assists steals and blocks on the road compared to home. While I naturally see a productive game overall for Luka, I can see him falling short of this benchmark for the 21st time, especially with another strong defender in Evan Fournier now patrolling the backcourt for Boston.
Jayson Tatum, SF, Boston Celtics: More Than 42.5 Fantasy Points
Tatum has gone over 42.5 MKF points in 20 of 41 games and landed right on the number in one other game, and he put up 46.2 MKF points against Dallas in the first meeting between the teams. Tatum is also averaging more rebounds (7.2), assists (4.4) and steals (1.4) at home, and he’s shooting a full four percentage points higher from three-point range at TD Garden (40.8) than on the road.
The Mavs rank in the bottom half of the league in offensive efficiency allowed to power forwards (24.7 percent), and in shooting percentage (47.4) and rebounds per game (53.5) surrendered on the road. While this isn’t an easy benchmark to reach, it’s also important to keep in mind Jaylen Brown could miss another game with his hip injury Wednesday, and Tatum is averaging 47.3 MKF points per 36 minutes and boasting a 35.3 percent usage rate without his teammate on the floor.

Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs
MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)
DeMar DeRozan, SG, San Antonio Spurs: More Than 6.5 Assists
DeRozan is averaging a career-high 7.2 assists per game and just dished out eight dimes versus the Kings on Monday night. He’s been a more prolific distributor on the road (8.2 APG) than home (6.6 APG); however, he’s put up at least seven assists in 22 of 37 games, and Sacramento checks in giving up the ninth-most assists per game (25.4) and NBA-high 48.9 percent shooting, both numbers that would bode well, on paper, for DeRozan’s passes to lead to made buckets.
Richaun Holmes C, Sacramento Kings: More Than 10.5 Rebounds
Holmes has been outstanding on the glass in his first season in Sacramento, averaging 9.0 rebounds per contest, including 9.9 per road contest. Holmes has pulled down double-digit boards in four of the last five games overall, including 12 against these same Spurs on Monday night. He’s also posted 11 or more rebounds in 16 games, with 11 of those instances coming on the road. Moreover, San Antonio is shooting just 45.9 percent on its home floor and allowing the fifth-most rebounds per game (54.8), a pair of figures that hint at the potential for plenty of opportunities on the boards for Holmes.
