March 3 NBA DFS Picks

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points

- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Kyrie Irving, PG, Brooklyn Nets: Less Than 46.5 Fantasy Points
Irving is averaging 47.7 MKF points per 36 minutes with Kevin Durant (hamstring) off the floor this season, and he’s scored over 46.5 MKF points in 12 of 25 games this season overall, including three of his last four contests. However, Victor Oladipo is back and healthy in the backcourt for the Rockets, which serves as a formidable obstacle for opposing guards. Irving is now serving as the Nets’ shooting guard and could see a good bit of Oladipo when he has the ball Wednesday, which could make this lofty benchmark all the more difficult to clear. While Irving will still get his numbers, I see the combination of James Harden’s overwhelming usage, Bruce Brown’s burgeoning role in the offense, and the possibility of a comfortable lead for Brooklyn late all conspiring to keep Kyrie at least narrowly below the mark.
Victor Oladipo, SG, Houston Rockets: More Than 33.5 Fantasy Points
Oladipo has also been playing well on the other side of the floor since returning from a four-game absence due to a foot injury, averaging 38.6 MKF points across his first three games back despite shooting just 40.3 percent. The fast pace at which this game should unfold will benefit Oladipo in the form of extra possessions, and the Nets also check-in allowing 42.8 MKF points per game to two-guards on the season, along with the fourth-highest shooting percentage overall (48.7) on the road. Oladipo has already exceeded 33.5 MKF points in 14 of 23 games this season, and he also boasts a 28.1 percent usage rate with Christian Wood (ankle) off the floor.

Golden State Warriors at Portland Trail Blazers
MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)
MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points
- Steal= +3 points
- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Damian Lillard, PG, POR: More Than 51.5 Fantasy Points
Lillard already posted 52.8 MKF points against the Warriors back on New Year’s Day, and he’s exceeded 51.5 MKF points on 11 occasions already this season. The star point guard is averaging an impressive 28.6 points, 7.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 15 home games, and he scored 52.1 to 73.8 MKF points in four of the last eight games. The Warriors have been tough against PGs this season, but this is a game with a 236-point projected total and one-point spread, meaning Lillard should be involved wire to wire.
Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors: More Than 47.5 Fantasy Points
Considering the expectations just laid out for this contest, Curry should be in the same position as Lillard in terms of shouldering a heavy load until the final buzzer. The sharpshooter already eviscerated Portland for 69 MKF points in one of his two previous meetings against them this season, and the Blazers come in allowing the highest offensive efficiency (32.5 percent) to point guards on the campaign, and particularly relevant in Curry’s case, the highest three-point shooting (42.5 percent) to the position as well. Portland also surrenders the fifth-highest offensive efficiency as a team, laying down the path for Curry to exceed 47.5 MKF points for the 16th time in 35 games.
