March 19 NBA DFS Picks: Choose Nikola Jokic For Fantasy Points

Last Updated: Mar 19, 2021

March 19 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 3/19/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Friday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

March 19 NBA DFS Picks

Star Shootout, Early Games

MKF Contest: Fantasy Challenge (Win 1.5x your Buy-In if Three Selected Players Exceed Goal of 166.5 Fantasy Points)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

James Harden, G, Brooklyn Nets (vs. Orlando Magic)

Harden has scored between 56. 3 and 78.5 MKF points in five of his last six games, with all five instances qualifying as triple-doubles. The Beard also put up 73.4 MKF points on this same Magic squad in one of the previous three occasions he’s already seen them this season. Meanwhile, Orlando comes into Friday’s game allowing the fourth-highest offensive efficiency to point guards (28.7 percent) and ranks in the bottom seven in points (25.5), rebounds (7.1), assists (8.9) and made threes (3.5) allowed to the position as well.

Jayson Tatum, SF, Boston Celtics (vs. Sacramento Kings)

The Kings are allowing a Western Conference-high 120.0 points per game, and Tatum checks into Friday’s contest having scored 40.2 to 51.9 MKF points in six of his last seven contests. Tatum also lit up the Kings for 54.8 MKF points the one previous time he saw them, and despite some recent inefficiencies shooting-wise, he should benefit from the NBA-high 49.1 percent success rate from the floor — including an NBA-high 39.0 percent from three-point range – Sacramento allows.

Draymond Green, PF, Golden State Warriors (at Memphis Grizzlies)

Green appears set to take the floor Friday without Stephen Curry (back) and Kelly Oubre (foot), which should leave him poised for an extremely busy night. Draymond already comes in with tallies of 54.4 and 44.4 MKF points in two of his last three games with those two players alongside him, and he’s delivered over 47 MKF points in six of the last 17 games overall. Green can generate some of the most well-rounded stat lines of any player in the league, and he should also benefit from taking on a Grizzlies team that’s allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency (26.8 percent) to power forwards.

Chicago Bulls at Denver Nuggets

MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets: More Than 55.5 Fantasy Points

Jokic already amassed 77.3 MKF points against the Bulls back on March 1, and centers, in general, have been eating Chicago’s lunch from a fantasy perspective all season. The Bulls are allowing the fifth-highest offensive efficiency to fives (33.4 percent), and they’ve surrendered the most MKF points (63.1) to centers per contest in the last 15. Jokic has already scored over 55.5 MKF points in 24 of 40 games and has come within four-tenths of an MKF point of doing it on two other occasions as well, putting me in the camp of “More” hitting here.

Zach LaVine, SG, Chicago Bulls: More Than 40.5 Fantasy Points

This is a surprisingly modest benchmark for LaVine, considering he’s scored 48.6 and 49.2 MKF points in his last two games, put up 43.3 against Denver when seeing them March 1, and has come within one-tenth of an MKF point of reaching or exceeding the mark in 25 of 39 games. The Nuggets have allowed 43.1 MKF points per game to two-guards over the last seven as well, along with 39.2 percent three-point shooting to the position on the season. Meanwhile, LaVine is essentially averaging career highs across the board, including in his three-point marksmanship (44.1 percent).
