March 12 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 3/12/21 NBA DFS Plays.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Friday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:
March 12 NBA DFS Picks
Star Shootout, Early Games
MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)
MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points
- Steal= +3 points
- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Russell Westbrook, PG, Washington Wizards (vs. Philadelphia 76ers): More Than 46.5 Fantasy Points
There appears to be a 50/50 chance Westbrook takes the floor without backcourt mate Bradley Beal (knee) on Friday, and Russ is boasting a massive 39.8 percent usage rate while averaging 50.6 MKF points per 36 minutes without his teammate on the floor. Even if Beal does play, keep in mind Westbrook has scored 50.7 and 53.6 MKF points in his two prior games against Philadelphia this season, and he won’t have to be concerned with facing Ben Simmons, who’ll remain out due to COVID-19 protocols. Westbrook has also exceeded this statistical benchmark in 17 of 28 games this season, furthering the already strong case for the “More” to hit.
Zion Williamson, PF, New Orleans Pelicans (vs. Cleveland Cavaliers): More Than 41.5 Fantasy Points
Williamson and teammates should be playing with a chip on their shoulder Friday after a thoroughly embarrassing 30-point loss at home to the lowly Timberwolves on Thursday. Williamson was about the only Pelican that seemed to show up in his usual form, as he still went for 30.0 MKF points across 31 minutes. I expect even greater production Friday against a Cavaliers team that ranks in the bottom 10 in offensive efficiency allowed to PFs (26.1 percent) and that’s given up 43.4 MKF points per game to the position in the last 15. Zion hasn’t had much trouble regularly clearing this hurdle either, scoring 42 MKF points or more in 19 of 35 games.

Miami Heat at Chicago Bulls
MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)
MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:
- Point= +1 point
- Assist= +1.5 points
- Rebound= +1.2 points
- Steal= +3 points
- Block= +3 points
- Turnover= -1 point
Jimmy Butler, SF, Miami Heat: More Than 47.5 Fantasy Points
Butler has been a pivotal part of the Heat’s resurgence, averaging an outstanding 50.4 MKF points over his last 19 games on averages of 22.9 points, 8.6 assists, 8.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals. The veteran is rebounding, assisting and thieving at career-best rates, and he checks into Friday’s contest having eclipsed 47.5 MKF points in 13 of 23 games overall. Butler has especially been on a tear over his last four games (58.5 MKF points per contest), and with Bam Adebayo (knee) once again out of action Friday, Butler’s 29.0 percent usage rate and average of 56.1 MKF points per 36 minutes without his teammate on the floor should help propel him past the benchmark once again.
Zach LaVine, SG, Chicago Bulls: More Than 41.5 Fantasy Points
LaVine gets a crack at a Heat squad that’s given up its share of productive fantasy outings to shooting guards this season, allowing 41.2 MKF points per game to the position and ranking in the bottom five or 10 in assists (5.2), made threes (3.8) and steals (1.8) per game allowed to two-guards. LaVine is enjoying a career-best season that currently sees him boasting new high-water marks in points (28.4), rebounds (5.2), assists (5.1), overall field-goal percentage (52.3) and three-point percentage (43.1), and he’s already eclipsed 41.5 MKF points in 20 of 35 games, coming within two-tenths of an MKF point of accomplishing the feat in a 21st instance. With a likely high-usage game on tap in what should be a wire-to-wire battle, I like his chances of eclipsing it again Friday.
