March 11 NBA DFS Picks: Choose Stephen Curry For Fantasy Points

Last Updated: Mar 11, 2021

March 11 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 3/11/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Thursday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

March 11 NBA DFS Picks

Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 3x your Buy-In)

James Harden, SG, Brooklyn Nets: Less Than 27.5 Points

It’s always a bit nerve-wracking taking the “under” on Harden when it comes to any scoring category, but there’s a case to be made for it Thursday. To begin with, the Celtics will have Marcus Smart back in the fold from his long absence due to a calf injury, and even on a minutes restriction of some sort, the defensive wizard can make quite an impact. Additionally, Harden has actually scored 26 or fewer points in 18 of 31 games, with 13 of those instances coming in a Nets uniform. Even with Kevin Durant still out Thursday, Harden could be doing some heavy facilitating if Smart particularly becomes his shadow for parts of the game, leading me to roll the dice on The Beard falling short of a benchmark he’s failed to hit much more often than not this season.

Jayson Tatum, SF, Boston Celtics: More Than 24.5 Points

Tatum scored a modest 20 points back in his Christmas Day encounter with the Nets, but he’s scored at least 25 points in 18 of 31 games, and he’s hit 24 in a pair of other contests. The star wing had a rough go of it shooting-wise in several games close to the All-Star break, but Thursday, he faces a Nets team still without Durant’s length to get in his way and that brings a big bump in pace to the Celtics. Brooklyn is also allowing the third-most points in the paint per game (50.5), and Tatum should once again be heavily involved on the offensive end in a game where he’ll have extra possessions to work with.

Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers

MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors: More Than 45.5 Fantasy Points

Curry averaged 49.6 MKF points over his last eight games before the All-Star break despite shooting just 43.0 percent during that span, as he contributed 7.9 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest alongside 28.9 points per game in that sample. He also lit up the Clippers for a whopping 63.9 MKF points that last time he saw them, and he’s scored over 45.5 MKF points in 18 of 33 games. While Los Angeles naturally brings some tough defense to the table, they’ve given up the sixth-most MKF points per game to PGs (52.0) over the last 15, and Curry has proven matchup-proof countless times, including against this very team.

Kawhi Leonard, SF, Los Angeles Clippers: Less Than 43.5 Fantasy Points

The Warriors have quietly limited opponents to a Western Conference-low 44.3 percent success rate from the field, and they’ve held Leonard to under 40 MKF points in both of their previous meetings against him this season. The Dubs have also been highly effective against small forwards in particular, surrendering the fourth-lowest offensive efficiency (19.5 percent) and just 41.5 percent shooting to the position specifically. Leonard has actually exceeded this benchmark in 17 of 30 games, but given the matchup and the fact Paul George is back healthy after missing the last game before the break, I’m going with Less on this number.
