The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Saturday’s slate featuring plenty some big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

January 30 NBA DFS Picks

Star Shootout: Early Games

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 3/3 correctly to win 5x your Buy-in)

Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF, Milwaukee Bucks (at CHA): More Than 12.5 Rebounds

Antetokounmpo’s rebounds are actually “down” to 11.0 per contest this season, but there are multiple factors that could help him exceed this benchmark Saturday. To begin with, the opposing Hornets own the seventh-lowest shooting percentage (44.7), including just 44.0 percent on their home floor. That should give Giannis plenty of opportunities on the defensive glass. Additionally, Charlotte is giving up just 44.7 percent shooting at home, which could leave Antetokounmpo with some extra work on the offensive boards as well. The Greek Freak has also pulled down 13 or more rebounds on five occasions this season, and the Hornets have given up 34.6 rebounds per game to frontcourt players, the fifth-highest figure in the league.

John Wall, PG, Houston Rockets (at NOP): More Than 7.5 Assists

Wall is averaging a modest 5.5 assists per game, but with Victor Oladipo and Christian Wood now both available to him, the veteran point guard should start facilitating on a more frequent basis. Prior to this season, Wall averaged 8.7 assists or more in six consecutive campaigns. The Pelicans make for good potential facilitators Saturday, as New Orleans allows the third-most assists (10.3) to point guards and were already giving up 118.3 points per contest over the last three before surrendering 126 to the Bucks on Friday.

Zach LaVine, SG, Chicago Bulls (vs. POR): More Than 25.5 Points

LaVine is shooting a career-high 50.2 percent, including a career-best 39.7 percent from deep, and has also established a new high-water mark with 87.6 percent free-throw shooting (5.7 attempts per game). He’s also exceeded 26 points in eight of 17 games, an excellent ratio overall. The Trail Blazers are down C.J. McCollum (foot) in the backcourt and are giving up the fifth-most points per game (51.5) to backcourt players, along with 38.0 percent shooting from three-point range. LaVine is also boasting a team-high 31.7 percent usage rate with Wendell Carter (thigh) off the floor this season, upping his chances of putting up enough attempts to reach this mark.

Detroit Pistons at Golden State Warriors

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-in)

Mason Plumlee, C, Detroit Pistons (@GSW): More Than 8.5 Rebounds

Plumlee is averaging 8.8 rebounds per contest and checks into Saturday’s game with three straight double-digit tallies in that category. Plumlee has at least nine rebounds in five of the last six games overall, and the significant bump in pace the Warriors bring to the Pistons should help his cause in the form of additional opportunities to exceed this benchmark. So, too, should the fact Golden State gives up just 42.4 percent shooting at home, meaning Plumlee could have more opportunities than usual on the offensive glass. Finally, consider the Dubs are allowing the fourth-most rebounds per game (16.3) to centers, furthering Plumlee’s case.

Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors (vs. DET): More Than 27.5 Points

Curry has scored over 28 points in eight of 19 games, including 31 against this same Pistons squad back on Dec. 29. Detroit is also giving up NBA-high 50.7 percent shooting on the road, including the second-highest three-point percentage (41.1). Additionally, the Pistons have surrendered 39.6 percent three-point shooting to point guards specifically, and Curry has had the hot hand lately with 28.2 points on 50.5 percent shooting, including 40.0 percent from deep, over the last five games.
