Jaguars-Colts Key Injuries
Jaguars
The Jaguars’ top receiving threat, D.J. Chark, is questionable with a shin injury. If he can’t go, look for Laviska Shenault Jr., Chris Conley and Keelan Cole to see an uptick in targets.
Colts
Michael Pittman is questionable with a concussion in this must-win game for the Colts. The rookie wideout will need to pass the league’s concussion protocol in order to suit up. If he’s forced to sit, expect a healthy dose of T.Y Hilton, Jack Doyle and Nyheim Hines in the passing game.
Jaguars-Colts Players to Watch
JAX RB Dare Ogunbowale served as the Jaguars’ lead back last week with James Robinson officially done for the season. Ogunbowale had 14 carries for 71 yards in that game, and should receive the majority of the back-field touches again this weekend. When these teams met in Week 1, Robinson had 16 carries for 62 yards. A similar output could be expected from Ogunbowale in Week 17
IND QB Philip Rivers went 36-of-46 for 363 yards, one TD and two picks in the Week 1 loss to the Jaguars. Over the past six games, Rivers has thrown for at least two TDs five times. Look for the veteran QB to spread the ball around, and put up close to 300 yards, in this must-win game for the Colts.
Jaguars-Colts Weather Report
Lucas Oil Stadium has a retractable roof, so weather should have no affect on this contest.
Jaguars-Colts Picks & Bet Tips
BEST BET: Under 49.5 (-105)
The Colts are averaging 28.2 PPG on the season, including an average of 29.4 over their last five. In the four games Mike Glennon has started for the Jaguars, the team is averaging 19.0 PPG. This total is spot on, but I’ll lean to the Under as it took a 3-TD performance by Gardner Minshew for these teams to combine for 47 points in Week 1.

CONSIDER: Jaguars +14 (-110)
The Jaguars’ lone win of the season came against these same Colts in Week 1. Minshew Mania was a large part of that, but Glennon is doing just enough to keep the Jags in games. A two-touchdown spread is a lot of points to cover, especially in a division matchup, pushing me to consider Jacksonville plus the points.
PASS: Colts (-1051) / Jaguars (+690)
No need to touch either moneyline play here. If you bet a side, take it with the spread.
