Last Updated: Feb 24, 2021

February 24 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 2/24/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Wednesday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

February 24 NBA DFS Picks

Golden State Warriors at Indiana Pacers

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 3x your Buy-In)

Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors: More Than 29.5 Points

Curry went off for 37 points against a tough Knicks defense in his return from a one-game absence due to an illness Tuesday, corroborating his return to full health. The sharpshooter should be primed for another high-usage night Wednesday against a Pacers team allowing the fifth-highest three-point shooting percentage (39.0) of any team on its home floor. Curry is now draining 43.0 percent of his three-point attempts after a 7-for-14 night from distance Tuesday, and he’s gone for 30 or more points in 15 of 31 contests overall. The Pacers have been strong against PGs overall, but they’ve been more vulnerable lately with 24.0 points per game allowed to the position over the last seven. With this game having a robust total of 229 points and a narrow spread of under two points at multiple sportsbooks, I like Curry’s chances of a hefty workload and some threes helping him exceed this benchmark yet again.

Domantas Sabonis, PF, Indiana Pacers: More Than 21.5 Points

Sabonis is averaging exactly 21.5 points per game this season and has scored at least 22 in 15 of 29 games, along with 21 points in one other contest. He came close against Golden State the first time he faced them this season (18 points), and the Dubs have struggled against power forwards all season. Sabonis had scored 25 to 36 points in three of the last four games before Indiana’s pause in play, and he should be particularly well-rested after a week of no games. Moreover, it’s worth noting the Warriors’ top-3 pace of play could benefit Sabonis in the form of some extra possessions to work with.

Los Angeles Lakers at Utah Jazz

MKF Contest: More or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

LeBron James, SF, Los Angeles Lakers: Less Than 8.5 Assists

Dennis Schroder will remain out due to health and safety protocols Wednesday, which could well result in another heavy night of facilitating for James. The MVP candidate has averaged just under 10 assists per game in the three contests Schroder has missed thus far, pushing his season average to 8.1. However, the Jazz just happens to be the most difficult team to garner assists against, allowing an NBA-low 21.8 per contest, including 20.9 per home game. In fact, only one player, the 76ers’ Ben Simmons, has even eclipsed seven assists in the Jazz’s last seven contests, and that unfolded in an overtime game. Utah is also tied for the fourth-lowest shooting percentage allowed on its home floor (44.7), and with the Lakers on a three-game losing streak, it’s also entirely possible James opts to try and take matters into his own hands more often Wednesday instead of relying on others.

Donovan Mitchell, SG, Utah Jazz: More Than 23.5 Points

Mitchell is averaging a career-high 24.5 points and has scored at least 24 points in 16 of 29 games this season, an impressive ratio that I believe he can improve on Wednesday. Los Angeles is surrendering 22.5 points per game to shooting guards and has given up 23.0 to the position over the last seven games specifically. Mitchell is averaging a robust 19.2 shot attempts per home game along with 5.6 visits per contest to the free-throw line, and he’s shooting a solid 83.3 percent and career-best 38.9 percent from the charity stripe and three-point range, respectively. Additionally, he’s just one point short of having scored at least 24 in nine straight contests, enhancing his case.
