A rough ending to last week left my overall record for the season at 31-38 (-12.76 units). I’ll look to right the ship with the following three player props to consider for Wednesday.
February 24 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns vs. Charlotte Hornets
Over 25.5 Points (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
Booker could be fired up heading into this game after not being selected to the Western Conference All-Star team Tuesday. Several other stars around the league brought up the fact that he should have made the team, including LeBron James. Coming off of scoring 34 points across 29 minutes against the Blazers on Monday, Booker could go off here to prove a point.
Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics at Atlanta Hawks
Over 5.5 Assists (+105)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 2.05 units)
Let’s take a chance on a wager at plus odds. This number might seem high for Tatum to hit given that he is averaging 4.6 assists per game for the season. However, the Celtics just played Tuesday, which means Kemba Walker should sit out Wednesday for rest. Tatum has dished out at least six assists in each of the last three games that Walker has missed, which included posting six assists against these same Hawks last week.
Ricky Rubio, Minnesota Timberwolves at Chicago Bulls
Over 10.5 Points (-112)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.89 units)
Rubio has rejoined the starting five for the Timberwolves and will likely remain there with D’Angelo Russell (knee) out. The move has helped Rubio score at least 12 points in five of the last six games. Given that both of these teams rank inside the top-seven in the league in pace of play, Rubio could have even more opportunities to reach the over in the scoring column.
